EcoSMART Organic Insecticides Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #14: Shannon Finer!

We have a major ant problem. I sweep the floor at least 3 times a day and mop twice a week and the ants just keep coming back. The problem with this is that they always bite Kiana. Sometimes she has so many bites that it looks like she’s having an allergic reaction. In fact, her school called me one day to ask what was going on.

I want to spray something around the entry points to our home but I’m always concerned about what’s in those pesticides. And since we have a brand new baby at home, I’m not taking any chances. So when I had the opportunity to review a product from EcoSMART, I chose the Natural Ant Killer.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

EcoSMART Technologies is a world leader in organic pesticide solutions. Founded in 1992, EcoSMART was the first company to apply modern science to essential plant oils — creating the first 100% organic pesticides that work. Our patented blends of natural plant oils are every bit as effective as synthetic chemicals, killing bugs fast without any toxins or harmful residues.

OUR REVIEW

When our Natural Ant Killer arrived, I couldn’t wait to use it. I was just so tired of always seeing ant bites on Kiana’s arms and legs. First, I went outside and sprayed all along the openings to our home: windows, screen, doors. Then I sprayed wherever I saw ants crawling around. Lastly, I sprayed in my home where I remember seeing the little buggers.

I did this a little over a week ago and I have not seen a single ant since then. I can’t believe it! We normally have ants invading our home on a daily basis and now they’re all gone! This product actually works! The only thing is that it does have kind of a strong minty smell so make sure you ventilate your home thoroughly after using it.

If you want to win a EcoSMART product, just stop by their blog where they’re giving away a product of your choice every single day! Good luck!

WIN IT!

EcoSmart has generously donated one product of the winner’s choice! To enter:

I have a problem with spiders entering my home through the baseboard heater vents in each of the rooms of my home. I have two small chihuahuas and I haven’t wanted to use any pesticides because I’m afraid they might smell something and lick it. I would love to try EcoSMART’s Home Pest Control (24 oz spray bottle) which states it kills more than 100 crawling insects safely. As far as I could tell the ingredients listed contain mostly natural oils, water and a bit of alcohol. I would be one very happy camper if I never saw another spider in my home again and would shout it from the roof tops if this stuff works.
