I am so glad that my favorite little monkey has come back in a big way. Growing up I used to love to watch Curious George’s mischeivious adventures and was always amazed at how everything turned out okay in the end.
DVD DESCRIPTION
The world’s most beloved and inquisitive monkey is back in Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey, the fun-filled sequel to the hit animated movie. Join Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat as they set out on a madcap cross-country adventure to reunite Kayla, a homesick elephant, with her family. This unlikely trio faces all types of comic calamities and colorful characters and in the end learn that with family, friends and determination you can achieve anything.
OUR REVIEW
Since my girls are already familiar with Curious George, thanks to PBS Kids, I knew this DVD would be a big hit with them. But what really suprised me was that I enjoyed it, too. In fact, I think I liked Curious George 2 even more than the first one.
I loved the bright and vivid animation, the soundtrack (especially The Friendship Song), and the entertaining characters. The introduction of Kayla the homesick baby elephant was a great way to revitalize the cast and we loved how adorable she is.
The message that with the help of family and friends you can accomplish anything came through loud and clear. In fact, after the movie was over Kacie said that if she ever needed help she knew she could count on us. A great lesson learned.

My 4 year old son’s bday is april 4….which is also easter sunday this year! He actually thinks Curious George is his Twin Brother! He loves all of his books and he watches the movie on a weekly basis. We’d sure love to have the 2nd movie! When our boy was sick and in the hospital for over 60 days, he watched this movie a lot! I know all of the words!!! And we still laugh…Uh Oh George!
