I think being creative is a great form of expression for children..It’s so great to let their imaginations flow, from the positive feedback on their creative project, self esteem grows!
Being creative helps them to express themselves!
I believe that allowing my child to be creative, encouraging her to use her imagination, helps prepare her for the challenges of having to think about problems, both in school and in life.
Creativity allows children to express themselves.
“Being creative” I try to establish this goal daily. I encourage my son to think up original thoughts and to have fun with his imagination. We all need a time when we have the ability to create something that comes from within, without any rules or regard of “how someone else thinks it should be done” Something we can call our own. My son who is 8 has been drawing daily since the age of 3. He spends hours on end drawing. He gets lost in his paper. He also loves to create stop motion animation films, and write stories and poems.
Kids need to create to express themselves and learn how to imagine.

It has benefited my children in their creative writing and in my older kids cooking.
Being creative helps with their fine motor skills & socialization skills
Being creative benefits my kids because I don’t want them to think the same as everyone else. I always make sure they have a stack of paper available and they are always using it to draw and write things that are in their little heads.
It helps expand their minds and thats always a good thing in mental growth

I don’t have kids, but whenever I spend time with my nieces and nephews I make sure that we do something creative. They love to make things, or to draw, paint etc. That is so important for imagination development, for encouraging creativity, for discovering and developing talents that they might have, for concentration, for overall well-being…I could go on and on…

I believe being creative helps my kids express themselves when they may not have the words to tell us how they feel.
I have 3 grandchildren ages 2, 4, & 5. My 5 yr. old, Bri, just started kindergarten and they all lOVE to draw, paint, color, & create. This would be wonderful for us since we all live together they could share it. This is the first time I’ve been to this site but I already posted it to my yahoo page. Awesome stuff here!!!
Being creative benefits my children by helping them to develop active imaginations. Who knows, maybe some day they will become great writers!
I think it makes them smarter
The kids being creative is so important as it extends into their entire lives
