I believe that creativity brings out the best in my girls. They blossom when they are able to make something that is simply their own and then give their masterpieces away.

    jennydecki says:

Being creative benefits my children by letting them explore worlds outside of their own. From the sweeping plains of Africa to the beautiful rainforests, using vibrant colors gives them the next best feeling to being there. In turn, this opens up their minds to learn new things more easily later in life and using that imagination to get out of situations from school to business. Creativity is a necessity for anyone looking to live a life less ordinary :)

Creativity is key to all aspects of a child’s development and how they integrate their view of the world into self. Allowing children to create their own boundaries biologically creates new pathways in the brain.

Coloring and creativity can also promote interaction with other children. My son’s favorite thing to do with other kids is color. They all sit in a circle and color together. He’s a little anti-social so it really helps him connect with the other kids his age. He just turned two. thanks for the entry :-)
