Crayola Creativitycast Giveaway – Week 1

The first edition of the Crayola Creativitycast Twitter Party sponsored by Crayola & MomItForward.com just wrapped up and what a fun evening it was! The topic was “Affordable Fun 101″ and participants shared their ideas about how to engage their children in artistic expressions without spending a lot of money. But most of all, it was a great way to make new friends and just spend the evening chatting away on a common topic.
I have to admit that this was my very first “Girls Night Out” twitter event and I was a little overwhelmed at how fast the conversation goes. But I think with a little pratice using hashtags & TwitterGrid, I’ll be an expert in no time.
Next week’s theme is “Back-to-school Basics…tips to get kids ready, yourself ready, classroom ready!”
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Every Sunday through Tuesday, you can RSVP for the party by clicking on the RSVP post on MomItForward.com
- There, you can include your Twitter URL in the link list and see the list of other GNO gals

- On Tuesday nights, tweet using the hashtag #gno #crayola and chat away

Sidewalk chalk! You can get it at the dollar store, there are lots of colors, and you just take out the hose for more canvas to create on. Nothing better.
Great giveaway! We can never have too many crayons here. My youngest and the dog eat them, lol.
We love to collect stuff from nature to include in our crafts…leaves, pine needles, pine cones, berries, rocks etc for painting, rubbing, & stamping. I love all of the washable Crayola items…they are a life saver!

What we do for creative fun?
Oh… we take out the kiddie pool, fill it with water, then the toddlers and I make designs on the ground with our wet feet.
It dries, doesn’t make a mess and they LOVE it!
I’ve posted about this giveaway at Winning Readings:

We like to play in our backyard together. Whether it’s playing on the playset, in the water, or gardening, we do it as a family and it doesn’t cost much (i.e. cost of water pretty much). And to include crayola, we color with crayons on printer paper that was printed on and not used or printer jobs that were messed up
