Back-to-School Giveaway #1: Clothespins! Game
This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for your participation.
The winner is Dianne.
Congratulations!

Our family loves to play board games and Clothespins! from Briarpatch was great fun for everyone!
You can have up to 4 players with each one having their own clotheslines (total of 3 lines) to complete. There’s also a deck of cards with various clothing items in various prints on them as well as cards with birds and clothespins on them.
From the site: “The object of this rummy style game is to score the most points by completing all three of your clotheslines, while placing three or more matching laundry cards in your hand on each line along with a finishing pole to close the line. Three pairs of shorts create a match, or even a polka dot shirt, socks and shorts…but as everyone knows, you can’t score points when you mix polka dots and stripes!
Clever players use their bird cards to swipe laundry from an opponent or move clothes from one clothesline to another. To end the game, one player completes all three clotheslines. To win the game, players count the cards that they have played and score points, while deducting points for any cards still left in hand. The player with the most points wins.”
Girlie Girl and I had a lot of fun playing this fast-paced game. It was easy enough for her to understand the rules and if we wanted to, we could also take out the “bird” cards to make the game more simple. Even Baby Bug had herown clothesline and cards. Although, she had no idea what to do, she felt like she was playing along, too.
