Sometimes you just need a good laugh.
Fortunately, the guys who know funny over at CollegeHumor.com branched out in 2004 to create Busted Tees, an entire line of humorous clothing, posters and accessories because they wanted “people to have fun, laugh, look good, feel comfortable, get good jobs, get sweaty dancing, and go home with someone who also did those things.” Just from that description you know it’s going to be hard to not spend an extended amount of time browsing through their selection while almost nonstop-chuckling to yourself.
Recently deciding to add a new twist to their collection, Busted Tees has introduced a unique line of sweatshirts for adults and kids called MonsterHoodies. My daughter was extremely excited when a Whale Bite Kids MonsterHoodie arrived for her to wear and I couldn’t blame her. Handcrafted on an American Apparel brand sweatshirt, the royal blue color was bright and rich and the fabric was thick and soft… and what kid wouldn’t have a great time pretending to be a whale in something this fun?
The whale teeth are sewn on right along the edge of the hood and the eyes are glued directly on top (securely glued, but maybe in the future those will be sewn on as well). In my experience, American Apparel does tend to run a bit small, but this sweatshirt was quite true to size and turned out a little big on my daughter – which just means a longer time that she will be able to enjoy wearing it!
After having been worn and washed, this hoodie still looks just as good as new and any time the weather cools down it is the go-to sweatshirt of choice. Available in child sizes 2 – 8 (retailing for $30) and in adult sizes (retailing for $49.95) as well, there is also a Shark Bite design offered now and many more styles already in the works for the future.
For a quality, fun, out-of-the-ordinary t-shirt, hoodie and more, Busted Tees has something for everyone that would make a great gift for birthdays, Father’s Day, the holidays or just a laugh.
