I’m always looking for new ways to help teach my girls the world of God in a fun and interesting way. That’s why we were excited for the opportunity to review Boz the Green Bear Next Door.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As a parent, you want your preschooler to have a strong foundation for life. That’s why we created Boz. It is the only DVD series that combines the important everyday elements of faith, family, fun and education! Boz helps reinforce the values you are already teaching your child.
OUR REVIEW
Thanks to Team Mom, we had the opportunity to review two Boz DVDs:
- Bananas, Bubbles and Busy Bodies
- A WowieBozowee Christmas
Before this review opportunity, we had never heard of Boz before. That’s why I wasn’t sure how well my girls would take to him since he was an unfamiliar character to them. They loved him! Boz has a way of teaching lessons in a fun, entertaining, and non-lecturing way. My kids enjoyed watching the stories and dancing along with the upbeat songs. Little did they know that they were getting an education in the process!
In “Bananas, Bubbles and Busy Bodies”, Boz talks about staying physically active, eating the right foods, and washing away germs. My girls don’t always eat enough vegetables so the healthy eating segment was very helpful to us. What I really liked was that the various stories were only 12 minutes long. Short, sweet, and to the point. I think this helped to hold my kids’ attention.
In A WowieBozowee Christmas, we learn the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of giving from the heart. I think that sometimes we all get caught up in the commercialization of the holidays and this served as a great reminder to just enjoy your family.

Finally a cartoon that will teach something POSITIVE. We dont have anything but basic Cabel and when PBS is not rinning cartoons our options are the cartoon network and I dont allways like (if ever) what the station has to offer for my child. I like that this DVD is said to include music too and my child learns best when there is a beat!
