My post office has automated teller machines…oh so nice. I can whip through it so much faster than those humans.
re: button factory…they had a lot of tedious & menial jobs there. I can’t imagine sitting there for 8 hours doing any of it!
When we went to the Fabric Market in Korea they sold the buttons loose in a basket. You picked how many you wanted, they put them in a bag and you paid. I liked that so much better…although you had to be careful with the guys who had bent yard sticks measuring out your fabric.
