This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentors #248: Amanda S & #217: Erin E!

I do love my coffee and wouldn’t survive a day with the rambunctious munchkins without it! I am a little picky about my coffee, though, wanting it just right. I don’t like it too strong, but want it strong enough to keep me going. I do prefer organic roasts, though those can sometimes be a bit expensive, which is why I was excited to try Blue State Red State Coffee!

About Blue State Red State

Partnered with Larry’s Beans, Blue State Red State Coffee, offers delicious high quality organic coffee. Not only can they prove their coffee is organic with documentation, but they are certified to meet Fair Trade practices. These guys are serious about their coffee and are on a mission to have a positive impact on society. How? They strive to provide the best organic, fair trade coffee and they always, always donate 33% of their profits to charities and advocacy groups.

BSRS is committed to excellence, celebrates democracy and practices philanthropy every day! Yes, indeed, they are!

My Thoughts

A portion of our counter top in the kitchen is dedicated to my coffee makers and coffee blends. I love trying new coffees and was so excited to try this one. I received the Blue State Red State Liberty Bell Blend. It’s the milder blend, compared to Ramparts Roast.  As soon as I opened the bag, the aroma was wonderful. I immediately had to give it a try and, as I took that first sip, I knew it was love at first taste. Yes, it was the perfect blend for me- definitely mild, but with a distinct flavor. It was delicious.

It was so delicious, in fact, that Josiah decided my phone needed to take a dunk. RIP phone. That’s okay because I was so excited about my new find. As an organic loving Mama who prefers to buy from Fair Trade businesses, I am definitely in for the long haul with Blue State Red State.

As I looked around their website, I realized there are other blends to suit your political affiliation. Proud democrat? Try the Fuzzy Burro and Mule Kick coffees. Joyous Republican?  Try the Tender Trunk Blend and Two Tusk Roast. The coffee you choose will determine which charities receive donations from your purchase. For example, if you purchase the Fuzzy Burro Blend, the 33% profits will be allotted to a charity or advocacy group with corresponding political affiliations! If you choose a Blue State Red State coffee, the funds will be given to politically neutral groups and charities. I love it!
