Our family is in no way wine experts. We just know what we like and what we don’t like. And what we definitely like is Barefoot Wine & Bubbly. We recently had the opportunity to review a couple of their popular bottles, and even though I wasn’t allowed to have any, the rest of my family enjoyed this wonderful surprise immensely.

OUR REVIEW
We received 2 bottles of wine to review: Zinfandel and Bubbly Brut Cuvee.
I have always been a big fan of Zinfandel. For me, it’s a more subtle and easy to drink type of wine. However, the Barefoot Zinfandel is a little more full bodied with “rich notes of ruby red fruit such as ripe cherries and wild raspberries”. It had a very smooth taste with a hint of spice that was enjoyed by all.
The Bubbly Brut Cuvee was definitely a big hit. This fruity champagne included hints of green apple, sweet jasmine, kiwi, and peach. We found that it went well with dessert and a great way to end the evening. It’s the perfect way to celebrate a special event or make the everyday something extraordinary.

If possible, we would like to try a set of their sparkling wines (or, as the Barefoot Wine & Bubbly web site calls them, bubbly wines) — brut cuvee, white zinfandel, chardonnay, extra dry and pinot grigio bubbly wines. If we could only try one, we would probably start with the brut cuvee bubbly.
I’d like to try the Barefoot Moscato!
