This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentors #5: Janet F, #25: Rosanne, & #40: Mishia!

Mom Logic has recently teamed up with Baby Looney Tunes in presenting you with a brand new site called Happily Healthy. Join Dra. Aliza Lifshitz as she shares with you fun, engaging and educational ways to best care for and nurture your baby via a series of tips and video clips.
As my due date gets closer, I can appreciate the advice that Dra. Aliza presents. Safety is my number one priority no matter what baby and I are doing – eating, sleeping, playing, learning – and she definitely has a way to make safety fun! The best part about this site is that you can ask Dra. Aliza your questions/concerns directly through their email contact form. This way you know you’ll be getting your answers directly from the expert.
“The first collaboration between Baby Looney Tunes and Dra. Aliza is Healthy, Fit and Fun, a whimsical story book featuring customized character art and illustrations with useful tips, in English and Spanish, for mothers on how to keep their little ones safe and healthy.
Dra. Aliza’s recently launched website, VidaySalud.com, will provide Spanish-speaking mothers a variety of informational and interactive learning opportunities on a branded landing page. The site will feature instructional video tips, downloadable wallpapers, screensavers, stickers, and quizzes on health and nutrition for babies, all featuring the lovable Baby Looney Tunes characters. Also featured will be news, future event information, photos, videos, games and blogs.”
So stop by today and check out Happily Healthy. It’s a great resource with a wealth of knowledge.

No running in the house. That’s my safety rule.
When I was growing up, several of my brother and sisters wounds and mine too where caused from running in the house.
I was running in the house and lost my footing near the basement stairs and down I went. That required some stitches. Another time I was chasing my brother in the house, he fell and I fell right on top of him, with the hard heel of his church shoes hitting me squarely in the eye. My eye was black and blue literally for over three months from that fall.
My brother’s friend was chasing him in our home and lost his footing and fell against my brother whose hand ended up going through the glass on the back door. That accident was very severe, he ended up cutting veins and an artery in his wrist. He had to have surgery for that one.
Our mom was always having to get after us for running in the house. There were so many little injuries from such, it’s hard to remember them all.
So, when I became a mom, I made sure that was the number one rule. No running in the house because of all the things to trip on, over, against, and corners of walls and furniture for little heads to hit. However, I wasn’t home and hubby let running in the house occur one day, and of course Jason our son ended up with a cut on his head, as he ran or fell into a corner of a wall.
I subscribe via email. Good luck to all. If I should be lucky enough to win, even though we speak English, I’d like the book in Spanish if possible. Thanks.
After children start to walk to teach them to keep their hands on the car at all times before getting in. That way you won’t have to worry about them getting hit by a car.

safety plugs and cords undone and out of sight
Keep all chemicals out of childrens reach.
i agree keep all chemicals out of the childrens reach. that is my main saftey one. and baby gates.
My biggest safety tip is use a firm crib mattress and no blankets in the crib for young infants. Also, always get your carseat checked by a certified car seat inspector, they say a vast majority of the carseats being used are actually installed improperly.

Thanks for the great giveaway
It’s good to have one room that is completely baby-proofed, so there is always somewhere you can go where you don’t have to constantly worry about safety issues.
My best safety tip is to babyproof BEFORE you little one starts crawling. I didn’t, and one day she just took off and was into everything.

Always wear your safety belts!
I too agree keep all chemicals out of the childrens reach. Ialso keep cabinet locks and gates up.
never leave a baby on a changing table alone.
The best safety tip I have is also one of the most obvious….use the safety plugs on all electrical outlets. Little fingers go straight for them when the crawling begins.
My tip is to use gates at the stairs
I keep a gate up so the babies can’t crawl into the kitchen when i’m cooking.
My best safety tip is to use common sense.
