This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #17: Sandy M!

DH has a lot of backpacks . . . and when I say a lot I mean like 30 of them. So when it comes to these types of bags he’s pretty much an expert. To me, they all look the same. But then again, he would probably say the same thing about my handbags. So when I had the opportunity to review the Alpha Sherpa Diaper Backpack, I knew he’d be perfect for it.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In October of 2000, Heather Campbell-Dewar and her husband Gary became parents for the first time to baby Camryn. After having their baby they could not find a technical diaper bag backpack for all of the baby gear that they needed to haul around. Instead of complaining about it, they retained a world class diaper bag backpack designer and designed and manufactured a technical diaper bag backpack. This became what is now known as the Baby Sherpa, a diaper bag backpack that is multifunctional and ergonomically designed.

OUR REVIEW

Talk about versatile! This bag has absolutely every feature you could think of . . . cooler, deep compartments, 10 interior and outer pockets, changing pad, a padded pocket for fragile items, bungee cord X for blankets & jackets, bottle holder, and even toy loops.

It’s very hard to impress DH when it comes to backpacks but he absolutely loved this one. His favorite feature was the insulated cooler which allows him to carry around milk bottles as well as water bottles for himself. The padded pocket will also come in handy when we carry our video camera. We usually end up having to carry a separate camera bag and I’m always afraid that we’ll put it down and forget it somewhere. With the Alpha Sherpa Diaper Backpack, we can keep everything in one place and also organized within the various pockets. There’s even a pocket to carry your laptop! Talk about blogging on-the-go!

And if all those features weren’t enough, this backpack is PVC Free, water resistant, and very easy to clean. Just wipe it down and you’re ready to go.

My main concern was how comfortable the bag would be with all that weight in it. However, after packing it with tons of stuff it still held it’s shape and was pretty comfortable to wear. It was a little heavy for me but  the padded straps helped distribute the weight and relieve pressure on my shoulders. Of course, DH had no problems carrying it. He’s so excited to have the Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack that he’s already packing it in preparation for baby!

I like that it has an oversize changing pad. So many diaper bags have mini changing pads. The baby doesn’t get smaller when you’re traveling! So it is nice that they have an oversize changing pad along with the backpack.

she would make it difficult for him re betnfies etc (we are on none). We only met after a year he said she wouldn’t meet me and vice versa in the meantime I was being mum to their son. He would spend his days not working and watching daytime tv yet did little round the house. We argue constantly still about how I will tidy the house and then watch it be messed up by him and his son which I know is a family thing but my partner admits to being a scruffy git’ and has taught his son this is OK. I could go on. In the end I began to feel like I was making effort and getting nothing much back in return and working full time that was taking its toll. He has since admitted he backed right off as he didn’t know what he really wanted (even saying this to me once when asked where we were heading) but all the while was happy for me to be there and sort his proverbial out. Anyway along came mr ex and whilst forgetting all the reasons he was an ex, he galloped in and I let him! Suddenly I was being showered with attention, taken out (we didn’t do this unless with children or his family in tow) and treat like a woman. To cut a long story short I decided I did not want this (remembered what he was like) and my partner agreed we would try again. So why do i still feel the same? Why has nothing changed? Sorry he has cut his drinking down to only 3-4 cans premium lager a night (like that’s ok). I moved my home of 16 years before we moved in together so that does not feel like a home, his house has never felt like a home and I feel lost. Particularly now that my ex is no longer around (his choice because i wouldn’t leave) I have written a hundred texts to him but not sent them thankfully so the strength is there but I miss having that feeling I am worth something. After a year I have yet to be told by my partner he loves me he says I should now by the way he is with me. Its 3am now and after breaking down again today, he is I guess on his mates couch after being out all day because he is sick of me having a go at him. I understand that but having been there before I know I am depressed, anxious and guilty and probably very angry at myself but taking it out on him. I know we should part but I am scared because i feel so isolated and the friends I had where I used to live don’t make much of an effort to stay in touch. Is it normal to feel so guilty after an affair or are these deeper rooted problems? Thanks Yoghurt I do have beliefs but think the answers are within. Or maybe people with the same experiences can help. I do appreciate your comment though.
