mens1It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Prom but I can still remember the dress I wore, the smell of Pikake flowers, and even our Prom theme. And now that Prom time is just around the corner, I’ve been noticing all the beautiful dresses and tuxedos in the stores and I’m amazed at how much they cost these days. How do these kids afford it?

Well, thanks to Men’s Warehouse these kids can get the latest styles at affordable prices.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We offer designer labels at prices that will change the way you shop for menswear. Our private label clothing is manufactured to our own exacting standards. Because we cut out the middleman, we can pass along the savings on these items directly to our customers. We promise to provide excellent value on high-quality merchandise at everyday low prices.

mens2This year, Men’s Wearhouse is getting into the Prom spirit by offering teens a chance to text, tweet and talk their way to a free tux, $100 Visa Gift card, and even a Camaro Coupe when they participate in the Men’s Wearhouse Prom Rep campaign. The program offers deep discounts and free tuxes to students who sign up to be a prom rep and recruit other students to rent their tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse. Reps who recruit ten friends to rent a tux from Men’s Wearhouse receive a free tux rental, and female prom reps who earn a free tux rental can give it to a friend or opt for a $100 Visa gift card.

How cool is that?

Head to http://www.menswearhouse.com/prom for all the details and to check out the selection of tuxes .

Men’s Warehouse is also a great place to get some valuable tips and advice on the latest styles, how to color-coordinate with your date, and even the option to contact a consultant. Check it out today!

I went to prom with a group of friends because I didn’t have a date. When I got there I found that the guy I liked was there without a date as well and we decided then and there to be “prom dates.” It was fun.

Most memorable moment has to be when I went to 2 proms in one weekend. I rented a 2007 Silver Chrystler PT 300 (drove like a dream) to escort both dates (both nights) to the proms. The first night was my bestfriends prom, shes a shy girl, but drop dead gorgeous. When we first got there, she wouldnt talk to any of her friends, so i had to go out on a limb and start making friends. By the end of the night, we had balcony privledges (given to us by security) and she made a handful of new friends she still talks to. The second day was my PROM. I was pumped, I had an awesome, fun loving girl as my date and we just had a blast. Danced our fanies off all the way to the prom in my rental, made prom court, and got to make a speech in front of 200 students. It was the best prom weekend I could have asked for. I will treasure that memory for a lifetime.

Boyfriends car breaking down on the way to prom, this was way before cellphones. He walked to a gas station to make a call to his big brother to pick us up. Big brother showed up with two cars one for us to use and one for him to get back home in case he couldn’t get the car started

I went to prom with a very good friend (hubby’s best friend) and we had a blast, we weren’t dating just friends so we didn’t have to worry about all the other stuff. He was killed in a car accident a year later.

My prom itself was fairly uneventful, but the hours leading up to it were a lot more dramatic. We were supposed to board a clipper ship not far from my high school, but heavy waters from rain storms made that impossible, so at the last minute the school had to hire charter buses to take the entire class to the nearest safe port an hour away. When we arrived, city news crews were there waiting for us, and I was one of the “lucky” few who was interviewed live on camera. Definitely a memorable way to start the evening!

My date took me to a local pizza joint for dinner and at first I was shocked and disappointed that we were at some dingy pizza joint but he had gone earlier and decorated the table with confetti, flowers, candy, and china which made different kind of special.
