Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry in the What Inspires You? Photo Contest.

I have to say, reading your truly inspiring stories brought laughter, tears, and awe to my day. It made me realize that life is too precious to take for granted.

I was so caught up in everyone else’s photos, I almost forgot to post mine! Here it is:

For those who have been visiting me for a while, you may remember this photo taken this past Halloween. No matter where in the world I am, I always know that I have these wonderful smiles to come home to. It was a long and difficult road for me to become a Mother and at times I wanted to give up. Look what I would have missed if I did.These two beautiful and smart girls are my inspiration every day.

Now comes the time to vote (please do not include me):

  • Voting will take place from March 9th – 11th.

    I vote for Modern Acropolis. I have seen the St. Louis Arch from alot of angles, even from the air, But this really was a unique view to one of our Nations truly inspirational Landmarks.

    My Sunday vote goes to an entry that I thought was very awesome. Modern Acropolis. This picture and the thoughts really do inspire me. The picture is awesome and such a unique view of the Arch and really striking. Cool! The thoughts behind it mirror something that I myself would say, so my vote today is for Modern Acropolis.

    I was moved by Desert Songbird at The Ice Box with her story and picture. Serving in Afghanistan right now, there is nothing more moving for me than our stars and stripes. Give her my vote.
