If you’re not already collecting those little Box Tops for Education coupons on various packaging, your child’s school is missing out.
Box Tops for Education started back in 1996 where they were placed on Big G cereals like Lucky Charms, Total, and Cheerios. Over the years, the program has expanded to include other big name companies like Pillsbury, Progresso, Green Giant, and Gold Medal. At their 10 year anniversary, Box Tops for Education has helped more than 90,000 schools by raising more than $175 million. And they just keep getting bigger and better.
So how can you help?
Cut out Box Tops and turn them in to your child’s school.- Visit the Box Tops for Education website and visit their Marketplace. Here you may purchase items from more than 70 stores, stores that you probably already shop with – Target, Gap, Land’s End, Limited Too, Leap Frog, Pottery Barn, and many others. For each purchase, up to 8% of the total amount spent will be donated to the school of your choice.
- You may also shop in their Reading Room where you’ll find tons of great books for the whole family. Up to 6% of all sales will go towards your child’s school.
I was given a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble and since I was already a registered member beforehand, all I had to do was log-in and go shopping. I wish everything was this simple!
With Christmas just around the corner, shop through Boxtops for Education and not only will you be getting great gifts but you’ll also be helping your child’s school. Now that’s a great deal!
