Cut out Box Tops and turn them in to your child’s school.- Visit the Box Tops for Education website and visit their Marketplace. Here you may purchase items from more than 70 stores, stores that you probably already shop with – Target, Gap, Land’s End, Limited Too, Leap Frog, Pottery Barn, and many others. For each purchase, up to 8% of the total amount spent will be donated to the school of your choice.
- You may also shop in their Reading Room where you’ll find tons of great books for the whole family. Up to 6% of all sales will go towards your child’s school.
I was given a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble and since I was already a registered member beforehand, all I had to do was log-in and go shopping. I wish everything was this simple!

WOW, I had NO idea Box Tops for Education had a website like that. This is so great!!! Thank you so much for posting about this Kailani. I religiously save box tops for our school (as well as soup can labels) and the majority of the other children/parents in our school does as well. It was nice to see our school’s yearly progress and goal on the site (we are almost there for the year!!! YEAH!). And from speaking with PTA members I know our school has been able to purchase many great things from this program.

When I go to the page it says, Welcome Betty so I guess Betty is what I signed in for my screen name and it shows me a report on the progress of the school I am supporting. I have done this for years. The school is where my grandchildren have attended and one is still attending and my daughter-in-law is a reading coach. I know the Box Tops Program has helped them get needed items for their school. It is a great program.

I’m actually in the middle of sponsering a BoxTops for Education collection at my daughter’s school- more specifically within her kindergarten class. The school itself has a collection box, but I never see anyone donating. So, I thought it would be fun to try to get the kids involved, which is what made me come up with the idea to host a contest. The child who brings in the most Box Tops during the time of the contest (for my daughter’s class only) will win the prize. It’s nothing huge, but will be a $5-$10 gift pack. I haven’t heard how the progress is going yet (Since my daughter is also competing I had the teacher play the role of collector and tallier.), but I’m really hoping we inspired some participation. Depending on how successful this is, I might try to host another giveaway again after the holidays. Plus I might consider talking to the school administration about hosting a school wide contest to see which grade can collect the most.
Anywho…
I’ve been a member there for a few months, but I was continually having trouble with my count. Something went wanky during my registration or something, so I just decided to create a new account. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the other one anyhow. So, my new member id at the Box Tops for Education website is ‘monkeygirlsmama’.
