Giving Flight Attendants a Bad Name

September 20, 2007

I’m not sure how many of you saw this video but I viewed it for the first time last night on the news and was appalled at the behavior of this flight attedant!

Apparently, Sarah Mills, a Delta Airlines flight attendant was accused of drinking Jack Daniels onboard the aircraft while on duty. The captain smelled the alcohol on her breath and ordered her removed from the flight. Court records showed that a breath test found her blood alcohol level to be .032. FAA regulations say that no crew member shall be allowed to work if they have a blood alcohol level above .04.

The scary part is that since she was not technically considered drunk, what in the world made her behave the way she did? Was it more of a psychological problem? What do you think?
