Stunningly and stupendously STUPID.

Dh watched it with me and said, “I think she needs a tox screen, there’s something else in her system besides alcohol.”

Hmmm….

I agree with Karen’s DH… I think there’s more than alcohol making her behave like that. Reminds me of the Anna Nicole Smith Show that used to be on E! She would act like that all the time… and look how well that turned out for her. It’s no wonder she didn’t show up for court, she’s probably (hopefully) embarrassed!

Goodness!!! What was she thinking!?! It does make you wonder if there was something else wrong with her. I find it funny how she blames everyone there for getting her fired…when it was her fault in the first place! If she was acting that way on the ground, imagine how it would have been in the air!!!

I wouldn’t think they’d be allowed to drink at all! What if there was an accident! I can’t drink during the day when I’m at work, and I sit at my desk all day!

That’s really too bad. I’m glad the captain turned her in.

My Dh watched this as well and wondered why the police were called in. I suggested that perhaps she was arrested for endangering the craft & passengers…which from that behavior she surely did seem to be a danger to herself & others.
I too think that she must have had something else in her system. I would have to suggest they do a psych eval on her too as who would be stupid enough to get drunk while working?

Although Dh used to work with a guy who was drunk on the job all the time…luckily he wasn’t a danger to anyone until it was quitting time.

How completely stupid of this lady. And yea, I agree, she must have been on something else. But don’t worry Kailani, we don’t think (or I don’t) all flight attendants are like that!

I’m speechless. I hope she is reprimanded, leave without pay, or even fired. I’ve worked with people who drank on the job before in restaurants, the bartenders would slip them booze in our drink cups we were allowed to drink soda. I turned a couple in, Yes, I don’t believe in drinking on the job, and two it’s stealing from the company. The thing was, they were never caught. I think she needs a psych examination, to determine if she will not be endagering any future passangers, because it sounds like she needs mental help.

wow that was really dumb. she must have some serious issues or she is upset about something (hence her drinking to keep the sorrows down). she must be on some kind of medication too to get drunk like that or she get drunk very easily. don’t think drunk flight attendants happen very often as this is the first time I have heard of this one.

Yeah, more than just alcohol in there, no doubt. I feel a bit sorry for her, but I see how you would be angry at her actions.

Wow… that’s crazy! I’ve been on a flight with a drunk passenger, but not a flight attendant… she does seem to be acting a little weird for just having alcohol in her system…

Man, how embarrassing for her! I always think of flight attendants as kind, smiling people who are there because they care about the people on board. She would have been a total shock to me if I’d seen her on a flight. Wonder how long until she gets her own reality tv show?

I think she has some drugs in her system. The alcohol is down a ways on her list of problems.

I think maybe she has something else besides alcohol going on in there… either that or she is one of those people that becomes “toxic” when drinking. There are people who react strongly to alcohol no matter what amount they drink.

I agree with some other people that she probably had something else in her system…my question is why can you have ANY alcohol in your system when you are working?????

They should’ve let her dance in the VMA awards instead of flying in the plane.

This is the first time I’ve seen this. It seems she was really intoxicated. It’s good that the captain detected the smell of alcohol on her.

OH MY!

She was Atlantic Southeast Airlines(regional carrier) flying as Delta Connection.. not Delta.. and she PASSED the FAA-level alcohol test threshold for sobriety ?!.. not that that matters as even the regional carriers ususally have more restrictive policies..obviously some other drugs in her system. Obviously, and correctly, fired, reported to FAA and will never be able to work in entire Transportation industry (not just airlines) again.
