I went to work today excited about showing off my new haircut and anticipated the “Ooohs” and “Ahhhs” from my friends as I walked into the flight attendant lounge. Know what happened? Nobody even noticed! Whaaaaa!
The only person that even made a comment was a gay passenger. He wanted to know if it was a wig.
Figures. Oh well, at least someone appreciated it. And we all know that gay guys can sometimes be your worst critics.

A co-worker commented on my highlights last week and asked if I’d just gotten them done. Uh…yes. I think a MONTH ago!
If a gay guy gave you the nod of approval, you know you look hot.

I’m sorry your friends didn’t notice. Mine never notice unless I make a big deal out of it before hand… “help me figure out my hair style”… “can someone watch DD so I can get my hair done?”…etc…
I colored my hair this weekend and DH didn’t notice until he took out the trash with the hair color box in it. lol

The gay guy’s comment saves the day!
I have to laugh when someone sees me and says, “Wow! Your hair has gotten really long! When did you do that?” Uhh….over the course of the last three years?
And NO ONE ever notices when I get my hair colored. I guess I’ve had the blonde highlights so long, everyone things they’re natural!

My boss is a man and he is definitely any of his employee’s worst critic. He’s really funny though and after working for him for 10 yrs I can take it whatever he dishes out.
I don’t think I could spend 4.5 hrs at any salon unless there were some extensive services being done to my hair…. I was getting my hair cut in the building where I work and using my lunch hour so I wouldn’t have to do it when I got home. But, I found someone really reasonable near my house and now we all go to her and just make it a “family affair”. LOL!

That happens to me sometimes too! I get more comments when I dry my hair a different way than when I do something I think is drastic to my hair!

honestly, in my opinion, unless it’s something really drastic, most people won’t even say anything. But that doesn’t mean they don’t notice. They probably do, but instead, they’re wondering ‘what’s different?” and it just nags at them. They don’t want to say anything because what if nothing changed?
so there you go. people noticed, but didn’t say anything because they weren’t sure.

I have a very good friend who is gay and he is always my best critic, if a gay man says your hair looks good then it does!
