I agree, some people just shouldn’t be allowed to be parents. I am always saddened by stories like this. It is such an senseless and unnecessary way to die. What was he thinking?

That’s terrible. I feel so sorry for the child.

I’ve heard of stories of people leaving their pets unattended for long hours in the car and it’s sad when some pets die because of heat and dehydration. It’s hard to believe people leaving their poor pets like that but I couldn’t believe how someone can actually do it to a child.

Yup… complete and utter idiots. Every time I hear about these things, I think of my MIL leaving Anna in the car with the windows rolled up… on a 90+ degree day. Feelings of outrage and anger are renewed (at the memory of her indignation when confronted)… And I just want to beat the crap out of someone.

Hmmm… this jerk was in there for 90 minutes. Gee, I wonder if he was cheating on someone. They need to send him to jail and make an example. I am so sick of hearing people say “I forgot”. Yeah, but you didn’t forget your stupid and sordid meeting.

OMG! I don’t think I would ever let MIL babysit unsupervised again! Can you imagine what could have happened?

So very sad. It was an inexcusable loss. Yes the dad my beat himself up over it forever but that doesn’t help the baby that died. I would kill my husband if he ever did something like this. I’m so cautions and paranoid to start with I think something like this would seriously drive me insane.

I pray for the mother and her loss.

We had this happen in Denver a few years back. A fast food worker left her baby in the car on a very hot day while she went to work because she couldn’t find a babysitter. Here’s the kicker…she made sure to close all of the windows and lock the door so her baby would not be taken. We all know how that turned out. It’s just so sad. We had to JUMP through hoops for a year to prove we would be good parents before we could adopt Luna, but some stupid 16 year old girl can become a mother just like that! Who is raising these future parents?
There is just no reason for this kind of thing to happen! Tips to know when your child is in the car?!?!?!

One of my biggest pet peeves is asshats leaving their innocent children in the car. There is never a need for that…EVER. You do not go shopping and leave the baby in the car because it’s easier for you. You do not go visit a friend for a “minute” that turns into 90 and leave the kid in the car. Some dumbass here in Denver left her kids in a running and unlocked Escalade and was “so shocked” that someone took her car with the kids in it. Dumb bitch.

Sorry, that was my ranting now. I just want you to know that it angers a lot of people and not everyone out there is an idiot.
