i also went with my sister and hated the crowds at the electronic stores (best buy, etc). the mall wasn’t too bad.
i bought some cute stuff for myself (something i haven’t done since high school) and spent roughly $100 for the whole day (food, fun stuff and my clothes). didn’t buy anything for anyone else except me n my sis. it was fun being with her–without my 3 little angels

I don't think it is worth but I know a lot of crazy people who do. My dad goes for teh big ticket items and usually does pretty well. I am not interested (or have the $$) to spend $600 even if it is for a ginourmous TV. I have never been Black Friday shopping and do not intend to break that 28 year streak. Why in the hell would you bring kids shopping at 2 am on Black Friday? That is just begging for a headache....for both parent and child! Mommy the Maid's last blog post..Tomboys and Hair Products

I can't believe that lady brought her kid, poor kid! Is it worth it to torture your child like that? People like that should not be parents! We have this outlet around here that opens at midnight (but I wasn't crazy enough to go) and people were stuck in traffic for FOUR hours!! My BIL went at 5ish, waited in line for 2 hours and got only a few things while my hubbie watzed in at 10ish and got everything my BIL wanted. Too funny! I didn't go to the midnight sales, but I did go out about nine a.m. I got great deals on a lot of stuff for Grayson. The Gap outlet had some really good stuff for boys, as well as the OshKosh outlet. I was shocked by all the people who were dragging their kids along, too! JessicaK's last blog post..I make somebody smile!

That sounds absolutely hideous. I don't like shopping in the first place; shopping in crowds is deeply unpleasant, and the thought of shopping in a crowd when you could be asleep is extraordinary!
