Oh no! Not Again!

Remember that cold I had recently that prevented me from going on a shopping layover with my friends? Well, it’s baaaack. Actually, I never quite completely got over it in the first place and now it’s back with a vengeance.
I woke up Sunday morning to a pounding headache and sore throat. Unfortunately, I was in Seattle at the time and still had to work a flight home. Luckily, I had some Zicam in my bag which helped a little but the pressurization on the plane made it very difficult for me to hear what everyone was saying. When I finally got home, I immediately went to bed and slept for the next 11 hours.
So like before, it’s a race against time because our family is supposed to go to Maui this Wednesday. A friend of ours is getting married on Saturday and DH is the Best Man. I would hate to miss this trip especially since we’re staying at the beautiful Westin Kaanapali Hotel.
So, I apologize in advance if I can’t make the blog rounds for a while. I’m probably going to be spending the next couple of days being medicated and (hopefully) sound asleep. Thankfully, I have some posts already in draft and ready to go including some cool giveaways and product reviews. And I promise to catch up with all of you, including the Aloha Friday participants and new commenters, as soon as I can.
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day and I can’t wait to read about your celebrations!
Oh, one more thing. There was someone who asked if I could send them a postcard from Seattle. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who it was so if it’s you, please let me know. I’d be more than happy to send you one the next time I’m there!

I’m sorry you’re sick. I just saw yesterday this photo article online about places germs are hiding and one was the flight attendant on your plane. I tried to find it to link for you, but alas it’s yesterday’s news.
There seems to be a really nasty bug that’s going through our area…one Church managed to have about 80% of it’s members come down with it.

That cold you have going on is making it’s rounds around my house. Praise God, I haven’t been sick yet, but my three kids and husband all have some level of cough/cold going on. Mostly it’s livable, except that the typically happy baby has been crying almost non-stop.
