Nothing Much Going On Around Here

Believe it or not, I actually have nothing to blog about today. So instead, I’m going to point you in the direction of a few other interesting happenings around the Blogosphere.

  • If you’ve been out of the country or hiding under a rock, maybe you don’t know that the Bloggy Giveaways Carnival is in full swing with over 500 participants. Do you think that if I enter every single one, I’m bound to win something? If you’d like a break-down of prizes being offered, The Good Stuff did a great job in organizing them by categories.
  • 5 Minutes for Mom is looking for an organized SAHM interested in a Virtual Assistant job – and it’s a paying gig! What a great way to join one of the most popular Mom Blogs in Bloggyland!
  • Christine of Are We There Yet? is holding a photo contest where you could win Closeup Shooting: A Guide to Closeup, Tabletop and Macro Photograph. I don’t know about you, but I could use all the help I can get! Deadline to enter is April 28th.
  • Mama Speaks is looking for a few hip and cool Mamas to join their team in doing product reviews for their site. It doesn’t pay but you get to keep some pretty great loot!
  • Want a free book for possible review on your blog? For a limited time, HarperCollins is offering America’s Hidden History by Kenneth Davis. If interested, email Felicia at

Well, that’s it for now! Finding Nemo, my absolute favorite Disney cartoon, is about to start on the Disney Channel and since Girlie Girl is on her 3-week break from school, we’re having a movie night complete with Hurricane Popcorn! Yum!

What’s your favorite Disney movie?

Hurricane popcorn? You might have to share a little more info on that one–sounds exciting!

As for my favorite Disney cartoon…that’s a hard one! I love so many! Nemo is pretty awesome (and hilarious!), so I think I’ll go with that one…but I also love Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King (because they’re the ones I “grew up” with), and pretty much all of the Pixar movies.

I second the request above. What is hurricane popcorn? Sounds very interesting . . . mind you almost everything does when I am stuck with matzoh 24/7 ;)

I would have a hard time selecting just one favorite Disney movie. There are so many wonderful ones. Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and Finding Nemo. I pretty much love most things Disney.

    Hurricane popcorn, eh? Sounds interesting…
Favorite Disney movie? Um… wow… I’m not sure! I really liked Meet the Robinsons… but it’s not my favorite… you know, it just might be Finding Nemo… I’ll have to think on this a little more.

YAY for Finding Nemo, my husband and I both watched it last night with the kids, and it was on this morning too, the girls watched it again. It’s such a cute movie. Just keep swimming….!!

    Thanks for the mention Kailani.

My all time favorite Disney cartoon movie is Jungle Book or The Fox & The Hound.
Recent movies? I like the Disney/Pixar ones ;0) too hard to pick just one I think!!

That VA thing sounds so interesting, I need to do some research to find out exactly what something like that would entail!!

Also like to know more about the popcorn. I love all the movies mentioned above. Lion King is an all time favorite and Nemo. They are all great.

Stop by my blog if you or anyone you know suffers from depression. I am blogging as a memorial to my nephew who just commited suicide to raise awareness.

If you’re in a not good position and have got no money to go out from that point, you will need to take the business loans. Because it will help you definitely. I get short term loan every year and feel fine just because of it.
