Mama’s Still Hot!

I was at the post office this morning waiting in an horrendously long line. When I finally reached the counter, the postal worker looked at me and said, “Didn’t I see you on television last night?”
Apparently, he thinks I look like this Japanese soap opera actress. At first I thought he was kidding. After all, here I was in my t-shirt and shorts, no make-up, hair tied back. In fact, I think my shirt even had some of Baby Bug’s drool on it!
But he was serious. He even told me the actress’ name. It was funny because he couldn’t even look me in the eye when he talked to me. He then weighed my packages and threw them into the bin without putting the postage stamps on them. When I pointed this out, he said I made him nervous and that he couldn’t think straight while standing in the presence of beauty.
OMG! Give me a break! I was starting to get embarrassed because all the other people in line as well as the other postal workers could hear what was going on. His compliments didn’t make me as uncomfortable as the thought of all these people looking at me and wondering what the heck was this guy talking about. I’m sure they thought he needed to get his eyes checked.
Hey! I know a good LASIK surgeon!
