This is one of my absolute favorite photos and memory. It’s the day that Girlie Girl met Baby Bug for the very first time. She couldn’t wait to hold her new baby sister.

I’m picturing you up and out of the hospital bed with your camera and sore everything… taking pictures.

** My visitors were a little surprised. I was out of bed, moving chairs around to make room for everyone, offering drinks and snacks, taking pictures. They couldn’t believe I just had a baby. But then again, she was only 5 pounds.

That is so cute! I remember how excited Baby K was when she met her baby cousin Bruddah Man. She used to help us feed him his bottle, put his bib around his neck, etc. Now he is 3 and she is 4. Time sure goes by fast. The keiki’s are so enjoyable.

I’ll be home on April 26! I’m meeting my family in LA to go to Disneyland on the 20th, and then flying home with them to Honolulu! Yahooooooooo!! Hawai’i no ka oe!

Oh how precious! And on the new pink background– I’m trying not to be jealous. But you know, in 15 years or so, I’ll have a couple of handsome young men just about the right age to be interested in those cute girls; we’ll come by and say hello!

As noted in the post, I probably put on way too many layers to go out there…but I can’t stand to be cold. But sweating isn’t good either because then the cold hits the sweat and makes you freeze. So luckily I could peel off my layers and keep at just the right temperature. :)

What a cute picture! She looked so proud holding the baby sister. And I love the new design btw. You and my sister can really get along in the shopping dept. She gets so excited b/c Banana Republic had such a great “end of season” sale this past weekend.

That is a beautiful photo. Nothing like a Big Sister to love her little sister the moment she is born.
