So lame.
Anyway, enough about that.
So, today was Girlie Girl’s 7th birthday and we decided to have it at Lisa Rose Tea House and Doll Room. We’ve gone to other princess-type party places before but none of them can compare to Lisa Rose. From the moment we walked into the room till the time we left, the hostesses were friendly, energetic, and accommodating. And even though with Girlie Girl & Baby Bug there were only 3 party attendees, they girls had a lot of fun. Girlie Girl is already making plans to have her birthday party there again next year.
Happy 7th Birthday Girlie Girl! We’re so blessed to have you in our lives.

They both look so beautiful. You’re right – it’s LAME to rsvp and then no-show. Shame on them, they missed a lovely celebration.

When my daughter was little, she went to a birthday party where she was the only one who showed up. She had a great time with the birthday girl. Now 10 years later as best college friends, they laugh about that day.
That one who came is a very special friend.
I could have gone with my troop if we’re living near! The party looks great!

Happy Birthday, Girlie Girl! She looks so beautiful all dressed up like the princess that she is. And so did Baby Bug (you know you’ll need a different name for her soon).
The girls who didn’t make it? Well it looks like they missed a beautiful party. If we’d been close my SG & I would have been there!
happy bday to girlie girl…the pics are adorable. i really hate when people rsvp and become no shows. it’s very inconsiderate esp if you take the time to plan a party that has minimum guest reqs and the money you spend. what is wrong w these people? if you’re not gonna show, then don’t rsvp. i’m glad she still had a great birthday despite all of that.

Although only one girl showed up for Girlie Girl’s birthday party, there were five of us. It didn’t seem to bother these three girls as they enjoyed selecting their dresses, shoes, accessories, nail polish, and what little girl can resist the wonderment of makeup and having their hair styled.
They twirled, walked the “runway” and posed for photos. And during lunch, Princess Girlie Girl even had a little bell to ring for service when they wanted additional “tea,” appetizers, sandwiches or pizza, which I thought was precious.
I wasn’t sure how this party would play out, but I must admit it was the best two hours I ever spent at a birthday party. I was genuinely having a good time watching these three girls just having a great time. There were no disappointments expressed at all. I was especially impressed with Girlie-Girl because she took everything in stride (I wonder where she gets that “attitude”) (lol) and wants to have another party at Lisa Rose next year (hopefully, there will be a few more girls to enjoy the experience).
The party atmosphere and staff at Lisa Rose Tea House and Doll Room were EXCELLENT! You could tell they loved what they were doing and made the party a truly happy one for each child.

That is lame. This has happened to my daughter before and I think it has a lot to do with rude and lazy parents.

The room looked beautiful, as well. To bad we didn’t live closer, my girls would’ve loved to have come!
I learned the hardway, about inviting classmates, last year. We invitied several girls & boys from Em’s class, for a bowling party, last year. Not one showed. Thankfully some children from church & her two cousins came.
I’m glad she had a good time, though. Hopefully next year will be better!

That is so rude of the parents. Every year, birthdays are a major stress; how heartbreaking if no one showed up. You would think parents would be able to relate and think of the child. gggrrr… that makes me so mad I could spit cake.

I just don’t understand people…we went to a b-day party this weekend for one of A’s friends and there was only 1 other little girl there…so she had a total of 3 as well. I just don’t get it! So rude, especially when you RSVP yes! OH well, life goes on.

We only have family birthday parties so with our family, all show up. Not sure if I will have a “kids” only party in the future for AA.

She looks wonderful. What a great birthday party and definitely such a shame that only one little girl showed up. RSVPing should be something that parents take more seriously. I am currently waiting for RSVPs for my daughter’s upcoming birthday and I know she would be devastated. I hope Girlie Girl wasn’t upset.
It’s difficult NOT to be disappointed for Girlie Girl that only one person showed up, but kudos to her for keeping a chin up and celebrating with class. Truly the loss was on the part of those who didn’t come. What a fun party – wish I could have been there!

I am glad that the girls had a fantastic time. I’m sorry about the rude, inconsiderates that RSVPand don’t show. That’s even worse than not RSVPing at all.
The girls had a great time and that’s what matters. We can learn alot from kids! Just don’t let it faze you and have fun regardless!
