I was recently asked to list 5 blogger who I thought were fabulous. The first thing that came to mind was, “Only 5?” I could easily name a dozen off the top of my head. However, rules are rules so my apologies to all you other fabulous bloggers out there . . . you know who you are.
What what qualifies as a Fabulous Blogger in my book? There are so many variables to consider that do not include blog stats or Twitter followers. To me, a Fabulous Blogger is someone who will stick by your side through thick and thin, someone who’s there when you need to rant or will cheer for you when something great happens.
Here are my 5 Fabulous Blogging friends (in no particular order):
Simply Cathi – Cathi was one of the very first bloggers that I had the pleasure of meeting in person. She is a mother to 3, grandmother to 3 and a Disney fanatic. What I like the most about Cathi is her ability to take the unfortunate events that life has dealt to her and still get up every morning with positive attitude. It shows in her writing and it shows on her face . . . she is a survivor.
The Ice Box – Desert Songbird is one of my very first blogging friend. And even though I haven’t been visiting her as much as I’d like to she has never stop commenting on my site. Now that’s loyalty! She’s been there for me when I couldn’t pay people to visit An Island Life and has always offered her honest opinions and advice. She definitely keeps me real.
The Eclectic Element – Kayla is another very loyal blogging friend. I haven’t known her as long as some of my other blogging friends but I feel she’s someone who I could definitely count on. She’s living with a condition called Lyme Disease yet she’s always so happy and positive. She’s also a frequent commentor and I know she’ll always have something to say even on some of my most boring posts. She’s someone a truly hope to meet in person one day.
Welcome to Married Life – I’m not sure how I initially met Krista online but she’s been a blogging friend for as long as I can remember. What I really like about Krista is her honesty. If she has an opinion about something she’s not afraid to say it. She’s very true to herself and I always know where I stand with her. Having a friend who will tell you like it is without being insulting is a very rare thing.
Thanks, Mail Carrier – I was also able to meet Xenia in person at BlogHer10 where we were Energizer Smart ChargeHers together. We were able to hang out a little together and even got our toenails done. I tell you, once you bond over pedicures you’re friends for life. What I like the most about Xenia is her sense of humor. She can take an everyday product and write such a great review that even if you had no interest in the item beforehand you can’t help but want to read more.
