    On June 11th, 2008, the people of Hawaii will gather to honor King Kamehameha I, the chief who united the Hawaiian Islands in 1795.

    I have a photo of myself standing at the King Kamehameha statue from 1975. Were you even born yet?!? I don’t think he’s all dressed up in my photo though.
