Trekaroo: Kids. Trips. Tips.

Every once in a while I come across a cool website that I just have to pass along to you. This time it’s called Trekaroo where people share their experiences with various family-friendly places and activities in their area. The great thing about these reviews is that they’re not sponsored by the places themselves.  This way you know that what is written is candid and honest.

As an incentive to start posting reviews, they have Welcome Rewards where if you publish 10 reviews in the first 2 weeks you’ll receive $10 to either Amazon, Starbucks or REI. Post 25 reviews in the first 2 weeks and you’ll receive a $25 gift card. These reviews do not have to be anything elaborate or involved which makes reaching this goal very attainable. And you can write about any place you want! If they don’t have it listed, then you can add it to their database. How easy is that?

I signed-up yesterday and have already done 5 quick reviews. It only took me a few minutes and I’m halfway to receiving my $10 gift card! Starbucks here I come!

This is not a sponsored post. I just thought it was a great opportunity and wanted to share it with you.

Trekaroo rocks! I’ve been writing reviews for them for a few months now and love it. It’s fun to share my opinions and see what other people recommend. We’re taking a trip later this week and I’m using Trekaroo to plan where to go!

  2. I love their site. It has a great insight for family travel.

They also run Kids Mobile to different city. Recently, I just join San Diego Kids Mobile. It’s a great way to learn about tips and tricks to visit that city. Hope they might have a plan to go to Hawaii and you can join their caravan. :)
