Aloha Friday #262

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your Aloha Friday post link below. Also, please consider linking back to this post so that others can join in, too!

Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

So my question is . . .

Are you ready for the holiday season?

hahahahhahahahahahahahahah Oh boy, that’s a good one! I’m not even ready for all this coldness! I live about 45 minutes away from Chicago. Need I say more. I live in my sweats just to stay warm. I hate being cold. I must say though that yes I’ve started Christmas shopping, and I am about half done, but still stuck on what to get the hubby as I am every year. Have a nice weekend.

Yes. I cant believe it, but I’m actually ready pretty early this year. I’ve been buying gifts all year long. I can barely walk in my home office (where I’ve stored everything) and cant wait to get it all wrapped and under the tree.

Definitely not ready yet this year! I didn’t even get my usual fall decorations out – though it’s probably a good thing because Hurricane Sandy would have blowen them all away. ;) I think this will be the first year in *years* all be scrambling right up until the last minute. :)

Nope, not even close! My mom, however, is almost finished with her Christmas shopping.

No, I’m not quite ready, but I’ve actually bought a few things and have put them away. Which is pretty good for me.

I’m getting there. Just managed to get my Halloween decorations down and put away but I’ve been Christmas shopping since late summer. Feel like I’ve got a handle on it :)

    Have a great day!

I’m getting old and the reminder of another winter around the corner isn’t a happy reminder…

    Have a great weekend!

Yes, mostly, although I don’t know where the heck we’re going to put up a tree and stockings in this place. Oy.

    Great question!

I am SO un-ready! I recently moved and I am still setting up house, so to speak. Our original goal was to have things together by Thanksgiving… but based on our current progress, I am not feeling very confident of hitting the mark at the moment!

I’m ready to wait until the end

  17. 17

    Definitely not! O.O
I probably should get started on everything actually!

Done with Halloween and have Christmas on my mind. That’s about it although I did sign up for some Christmas program and party things at church yesterday.
