Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.
Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your Aloha Friday post link below. Also, please consider linking back to this post so that others can join in, too!
Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
So my question is . . .
If you could compete in a Summer Olympic sport (and be really good at it) which would it be?

I’ve always wanted to do track & field
Gymnastics for sure! I’ve always dreamed of twirling, flipping and vaulting like that!
This is very similar to my question. My answer is gymnastics! I took some gymnastics when I was a young girl, never good enough to compete in anything beyond a school activity, but it was fun, and it would have been so much more fun if I was better at it.
Do they still do the Ribbon Gymnastics? That’s what I’d like to do. No jumping ten feet in the air and dancing.
I was just asking my husband if they still did that event. I haven’t seen it this year and I can’t find it on the schedule anywhere.
Swimming or gymnastics
Definitely gymnastics.
Track and field or basketball.
Gymnastics for sure! I always wanted to take gymnastics as a kid but I was just too shy! I also love playing volleyball so that would be a blast too!
Gymnastics – have dreamed about that since I first saw the Olympics as a little girl!
Probably swimmimg or synchronized swimming. Although diving fascinates me too. Hope you are having a great time in NYC
Either swimming or diving.
I love archery and the whitewater sports! I’ve shot ‘competitively’ in archery and would like to be an Olympic caliber…
If I was a good swimmer, I’d try that — the athletes are all super fit!
Does MommyBundle have a question and I’m missing it, or just a giveaway? :\
Freestyle swimming or tae kwon do.
swimming! i love swimming! but not competitive though…I swim only for fun…
Probably… gymnastics!
Hey, I just linked to my blog because I misread the directions at first. So you can just delete that if you want, sorry!! I’m 17. Crazy Mama!
Not that I would be good at any sport but I would say Tennis. I loved playing that as a kid.
Gymnastics! Love that sport and always wish I would be gone further with it.
I would also say gymnastics. Had a lot of fun with it in the earlier days.
