Aloha Friday #246

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your Aloha Friday post link below. Also, please consider linking back to this post so that others can join in, too!

Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

So my question is . . .

If you had to teach a school subject, what would it be?

Well, since I am a teacher my favorites are Science and Reading. Nothing like watching a young child learn to read and figure out how items in the world work.

Whats up are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m tyring to get started and create my own. Do you require any coding knowledge to make your own blog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All I have that’s really good is street experience/smarts. I think there out to be a class about that.

I am a teacher, and I just finished my first year of teaching. I taught 5th and 6th grade social studies. Next year I will be teaching 6th grade homeroom. I can’t wait to have the variety. I definitely found that I was somewhat bored with just one subject.

I’d teach “Life 101″. Things like balancing your checking account, making a decent meal, writing a resume or filling out a job application. I think sometimes kids get out of school unprepared for the everyday stuff in life that trips them up.
