Aloha Friday #223

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

So my question is . . .

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily schedule what would it be?

For me, it would be putting on make-up. I would go every day without make-up if I could.

I’d eliminate cleaning up from dinner. After I come home, make dinner, and eat, I only have a half hour to an hour of time to spend with the kids before they need to go to sleep. I’d rather not spend that time cleaning dishes and pots.

Daily chores – I’d hire a housekeeper if I had the moolah! :-)

Cleaning up after supper, then making hubby’s lunch, then make the coffee… oh I guess the hum-drum of evening chores. It’s so repetitious.

  4. 4

I would eliminate making dinner and cleaning up after.

Are we talking feasible? If not…I’d eliminate sleep. I’d get so much done if I didnt have to sleep. ;D

  7. 7

I would eliminate having to do the laundry.

The fact that my kids refuse to go to bed at a reasonable hour – I wish they would just GO TO SLEEP when it’s bedtime! Unfortunately, they’re night owls like their mama. Bah! :) Aloha!

I would have to agree with many of the others and say cleaning up. Especially when there is a “debate” involved.

I agree with every one’s answers. Daily chores and I really like having to eliminate sleep to be able to have more hours to accomplish things during the day.

Everyone is on the same page as me – the daily chores/clean up. Especially when it seems to be an never-ending cycle! Oh, and I’m with SmellyAnn – bedtimes are atrocious, especially with Little Dude. ;)

    Cooking dinner – ugh!

  13. 13

I would eliminate the morning rush and delivering the kids to school. So much stress into a short amount of time.

Going to work, but it pays the bills – so I have no plans of eliminating it from my schedule.

Probably getting the kids ready for school in the morning. Then I could sleep in! :-) (You’re talking fantasy elimination, right…not things you actually CAN eliminate?)

I do not know, I read all the comments and I guess it would be the after meal clean up. However I do not have to do that must of the time. Hubby does it.

I would eliminate having to help my kids with their math homework. Ugh! It’s the worst and embarrassing that I sometimes don’t know how to do their math.

I would have to say the after dinner chores. Cleaning up and washing dishes. The worst.

I would eliminate putting away the laundry. Luckily, my daughter does it for me most of the time. What will I do when she goes to college next year?

  20. 20

Cleaning! Mainly the dishes, I hate them and they always pile up!

  21. 21

You know, I really can’t think of anything that I would skip! :)

    Happy Friday!

  22. 22

If I could never do laundry again, I would be SO happy…

  23. 23

I would like to illuminate my long to and from commute to work. What a pain in the… neck that is!

  24. 24

I would eliminate sleep if I could. I’ve always thought just touching a reset button would be nice. Then again, I would probably miss that time laying around. Seriously, I would eliminate ironing my work clothes every day!

  25. 25

I’d eliminate the necessary preparation for the classes and simply teach by the ear. We would all have so much more fun.

I would have to have a schedule first. giggle
