A Photo Contest II
The theme is (of course) Favorite Vacation Spot.
Here are the rules:
- Post a photo on your blog that best represents your “Favorite Vacation Spot” by midnight on May 17th.
- It doesn’t have to be a far away place — use your imagination! However, the photo must have been taken by you or someone in your family.
- Include a little description of the photo and a link back to this contest.
- Add your link to the Mr. Linky (below) before the 17th. Make sure it’s a link to your actual entry so people can find it.
- Voting will take place from May 18th – 20th.
- Send your readers over to vote for you via comments. They can vote once per day.
- Winners will be announced on May 22nd (provided I make the flight home and don’t have major jetlag).
- 1st place will win a $20 gift certificate and 2nd place will win a $10 gift certificate to Amazon.com. Both will get a cool button to display.

I got a question for you since you are what I consider an expert on this blog stuff!!! How do you get a post to stay at the top of all your other posts? Do you just have to go in and keep changing the date so it is a later date than your other posts? Or is there a way to put it in the code for it to always stay on top?

I found you again! My computer crashed and I lost all of my bookmarks. The link on my sidebar is for your old site, and Meg only had your email address. Before I could email you, the computer crashed again.
I’ll try to email you later, but until then, thank you SO MUCH for all of the goodies you sent Drama Queen, her class and our family for the Flat Stanley project. She has talked and talked about it. I think the gifts bumped up her status in the 3rd grade scheme of things.

I loved JennyV’s calm and serene photo. I have to say that if I had a choice after working for months and slaving away.. and then took a vacation- this is where I’d like to be- somewhere quiet and superbly beautiful.

I would vote for myself…but I can’t in good conscience while Mike’s (Eyes by Ear) pic is up there…it’s stunning. Not only is the picture itself great…but the sentimentality of it really touched me. I lost my Mom to lung cancer. How neat that he has that photo to provide a wonderful memory. Great pic, Mike!

Today I’m voting for Pass the torch. I have a few of those same type of water shots something about the mesmorizing effect of water once you slow down and get on vacation time, if you take vacations to get away from people.
Karen I hate fishing also that is why i lug a 23# camera bag miles back in the bush and look at the purchase of a fishing license a complete was of money at least for me. My blog is going to be mostly dedicated to these types of trips especially BWCA trips since i’ve upgraded to digital photography.
