ENTERTAINMENT

Anchor Bay Entertainment presents OPEN ROAD, in select theatres August 28th and then expanding! In this heartwarming comedy, minor leaguer Carlton Garrett (Justin Timberlake) takes an unexpected road trip to track down his estranged father, legendary baseball player Kyle Garrett (Jeff Bridges) when Carlton ’s mother (Mary Steenburgen) becomes sick. Knowing his charming yet painfully immature dad’s likelihood to disappoint, Carlton enlists his on-again-off-again girlfriend Lucy (Kate Mara) for emotional support. Once reunited, Carlton struggles to deal with the series of misadventures caused by his father’s antics, including missed flights, car trouble and bathroom brawls. Years of miscommunication, frustration and comically awkward attempts at bonding come to a head as the mismatched trio make their way from Ohio back home to Houston to reunite the family.

Recently scads of women have been saying “Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,” using the popular videogame consul and getting fit at the same time! Fitness games have taken the market by storm—and to add another hop-in-the-healthy-step, in December Ubisoft is launching Your Shape. What makes this game not-like-the-others is that it actually contains a camera allowing players to project their own likeness within the game! So it can correct improper positioning or help tone, slim any “problem” areas. Plus there are 480 fun workouts to choose from. This game provides the luxury of having your own (virtual) personal trainer in the comfort of your home! Ubisoft has been developing this product with mom, actress, comedienne and author, Jenny McCarthy. Jenny responded to the product because she’s an advocate of healthy living and also leads a very busy life.
