Zip n’ Hang Review

Are you looking for a way to hang something on your door without it getting in the way of you shutting your door or causing your door to get scratched? If so you should check out the Zip n’ Hang.
What is a Zip n’ Hang? It is “The World’s First Adjustable Over-The-Door Hook That Won’t Damage Your Doors.” It is great product to help you hang just about anything from the back of your door. It also can hold up to 20 lbs. The Zip n’ Hang comes with two different hooks. A smaller size to hang little things such as a backpack or towel and a larger one to hang wreaths. You also do not need any tools and adjusting it is easy.
You can see in the above picture that all you need to do is press the button and hold it while pulling the two lines. Then you place the flexible tubes on each corner of the back of the door. If you need to adjust it to a different height all you have to do is push the button and let the Zip n’ Hang go up or pull it down to your desired spot.
In this picture you can see the flexible tubing placed fully on the back corner of the door.
If you need to change hooks on your Zip n’ Hang all you have to do is unscrew the hook and screw the other hook in. I used the small hook for my wreath because it had a nice wire part in the back that the smaller hook fit in.
I am really happy with the Zip n’ Hang. There is no metal to scratch your door and your door closes with ease. Using a metal hanger over the door I have found it hard to shut the door. Also I have heard it scrape the door frame when using the metal hanger.
So if you are looking for an easy way to hang things without damaging your door then you should check out the Zip n’ Hang. It really is easy to use.
The Zip n’ Hang can be purchased on the site for $12.99. Additional accessories can be purchased also here.

Better Homes & Gardens for the Holidays

We’ve all heard of Better Homes & Gardens (BHG) but did you know that they have their very own product line at Walmart? Everything from kitchen items to comforters to wall decor and now beautiful holiday items. We recently had the opportunity to select a few of our favorites that we thought would make great holiday gifts.
Our first choice was the Poinsettia Tablerunner ($15.97). This is the perfect addition to any dining table for everyday use or for holiday parties. It measures 14″ x 72″ and is made from 100% machine washable polyester so you know it’s easy to clean. But the best part is how pretty it is!
The fabric has a satiny finish to it and the detailed embroidery is very well made. By looking at it you would never guess how affordable it is!
Next was the Mistletoe Bowl ($11). This 10″ diameter serving bowl is a great way to showcase a delicious holiday entree, salad or dessert. It’s made from heavy ceramic and just feels like a real quality bowl. There are beautiful paintings of mistletoe around the sides as well as a red trim on the rim.
I also like how one of the mistletoe spills over to the inside of the bowl. Very pretty!
Finally, we chose the Mistletoe Red Linen Napkins ($2.98 for 2). It’s all about the details and these gorgeous linen napkins will put the finishing touches on your holiday table.
They measure a square 18″ x 18″ and is made from a machine washable polyester material. What I really like is the deep red color. I’m not a real fan of red but this shade is so rich looking and really accents the rest of the BHG holiday items I received.
So whether you’re hosting your own holiday event or are looking for great gift ideas, check out the Better Homes and Gardens collection at Walmart.

Crash Candles works with designers and artists to create their 100% natural soy wax, a renewable resource and  all natural cotton wick candles. Their designs are fired on glass tumblers so that when you are done burning the candle the glass is yours to use for whatever you wish.
I received an Angela Adams design “Cloud” in lavender scent. It is a soft scent, not “too much” or overbearing and each Crash candle has it’s own scent picked by the designer ranging from fruits, florals, woods, and spices to elevate the senses. I have to say though, the art is so lovely I am actually looking forward to the candle burning out so I can use the glass! LOL!
Dedicated to celebrating a natural lifestyle, angela adams represents an optimistic view of the world spoken through a language of color, pattern and form, all inspired by the timeless beauty of nature and ever-changing landscape of Maine.

Crash Candles are committed to quality over quantity using environmentally safe renewable resources. They are hand-poured and made in the USA! The glass candles are 7.5 oz and $24.00. Check out their different designer’s creations.

Mimuno Mug Review

I had the chance to review a mug by Mimuno. If you are looking for a stylish mug that won’t allow your hands to get burned while drinking your favorite hot beverage and won’t make a condensation ring on your furniture, then this is the mug for you.
Let’s learn a little about Mimuno first:
Mimuno makes insulated hand blown glassware that is focused on providing smart, beautiful, and modern glassware for you and your home. According to their about page, they believe that an effort to live more aesthetic lives should not be a compromise with functionality. That style and utility are not meant to be mutually exclusive. They are committed to improving your life through innovative products that will be an asset to your home.
Mimuno says their glasses will help with:
- No more burnt hands
- Keep your beverages at the right temperature
- No more rings on your furniture
Of course I am someone who likes to test those things out so let’s start with the first thing. No more burnt hands…
This is the perfect time of year for apple cider and hot coco. Two of my families favorite things to have during the fall and winter seasons. I decided to warm some apple cider in my Mimuno mug for me and in a regular mug for my husband. I heated both mugs one at a time but the same amount of time in our microwave. I grabbed my Mimuno mug by the handle then put my hands around the body of the mug. It was just barley warm to the touch. I then took a sip and my cider was hot. I then had my husband feel it. I think he was impressed like I was. Then it was time for the regular mug. I heated it the same time. Grabbed it out by the handle and then put my hands around the mug and it was very hot to touch. So the Mimuno mug is a big plus in not burning your hands.
Next let’s explore keeping the beverage at the right temperature. I heated the cider in the Mimuno mug one time and the cider was a great temperature to drink.  I had to reheat the cider in my husband’s mug even though the mug was hot, the cider was not.  My husband needed to let his cup cool down so he could hold it. I decided to drink a little of my cider but leave the rest sitting. When I went back after about 5 minutes I noticed my husband’s cider was cooler and so was the mug. The Mimuno mug however kept my cider almost the same temperature as it was when I first started.  After a little more time my husband’s cider was pretty cool and in the Mimuno mug it was still warm. Insulated glass is the way to go!
Now for saving what I think is one of the best things for last. No rings on furniture. I know we all hate when someone forgets and puts a cup on a table and leaves it. I know I am guilty of doing it.  So what is the best way to find out if something leaves a ring or not? Leave it on the table right? Yeah I did it, but I put it on a piece of construction paper so you could really see the results of the “experiment.â€Â As you can see in the pictures below the regular glass left a huge mark on the paper. The Mimuno mug had a little spot there. If you look in the glass you can also see that the regular glass has almost no ice left. The Mimuno mug still had ice. This is another way you can tell that the Mimuno mug is well insulated.
So if you are looking for a mug or glass that doesn’t leave huge rings on your furniture, keeps your beverage at the right temperature and is stylish then I suggest you give Mimuno a look. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
The Mimuno mugs like I got to review can be found here for $12 each. Buy 2 for $11 each or 4 for $10 each.
Mimuno also has tumblers and pilsners for $14 each. Buy 2 for $13 each or 4 for $12 each. The Mimuno tumblers can be found here. The Mimuno pilsners can be found here.
*Note I did receive a complimentary Mimuno mug for review purposes. However I was not paid for my review. This is my honest opinion of the product.
