Oshi Mats

When you’re out with you baby, sometimes it’s hard to find someplace clean to put her down. Now there’s Oshi Mats which provides you with not only a mat that is water resistant, anti-bacterial, and environmentally friendly but it’s also pretty cool looking.
Oshi Mats are for moms on the go and were originally made for babies just starting to sit up. However, I think they would make a great baby shower gift so moms can use it as soon as the baby is born. The mat is thick and comfortable and would be really great for tummy time until baby sits up.
Once your baby is up and running . . . literally, they probably won’t sit on the mat for very long. Then, I think the mats would still be great for picnics and outings since they roll up and go easily into the carry bag they come with. Bring it to the park, vacation trips, grandma’s house, wherever you need a soft clean place for baby.
The Oshi Mat comes with a nylon bag which is great for wiping off if it gets dirty, but I think the 100% unbleached cotton bag available might be my first choice as a more eco-friendly option.
The size of the Oshi Mats are 32″ X 27″ and is made from a non-toxic, 100% PVC/Latex FREE foam and retails for $49.99.
Tiny Revolution
Every once in a while a clothing company will come along and make me feel inspired. Whether it’s through their products, their charitable contributions, or just being green – they make me stop and think about the ways that I can contribute to the overall good of our environment and the people within it. Tiny Revolution is one of these companies.
Tiny Revolutionary - the ultimate cool baby tee and organic baby clothes shop on the web where peace, love & equality aren’t just for grown-ups. We believe that children are our most precious natural resource and that by teaching them the values of social responsibility we can create a new world full of love for all of us! We offer an extensive line of quality designer baby tees, cool baby clothes & unique baby gifts. Tiny Revolutionary has something for any do-gooder baby, mama or papa in your life.
I recently had the opportunity to review a tee of my choice from the Tiny Revolution website and even though there were so many cool designs I knew immediately which one I wanted . . . a tee for Kaila that said “I’ll change the world someday” ($22). Isn’t it amazing how one simple sentence can be so powerful?
The cotton/polyester/rayon shirt is ultra soft and comfortable. There are no itchy tags or pokey seams. In fact, it’s so soft that even I want to get one now. Plus, their clothing are made 100% sweatshop free and uses non-toxic and water-based inks.
However, probably one of the best things about Tiny Revolution are all of the charities that they work with.
- Save a Child’s Heart:Â provides life-saving heart surgeries to babies and children in poor and war torn countries.
- One Village at a Time:Â to provide education and support to struggling communities in Africa, particularly those hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic.
- Hands to Hearts International:Â makes the world a better by sharing critical knowledge about early childhood development to communities compromised by poverty and conflict.
Or you can select your own charity to support from their list of participating partners where $1 will be donated for each item that you purchase. How cool is that?
So stop by Tiny Revolution today and not only will you get quality inspirational clothing but you’ll also be helping the environment and people who live there.

Simply Good Diaper Bag

Since I pretty much always have my diaper bag with me, I need something that is not only functional but also looks good. However, believe me . . . that’s easier said than done. I’ve been through more than my share of diaper bags over the years and it was so hard to find one that meets my needs . . . until now. Introducing the Simply Good Square Diaper Bag.
Fashionable and convenient for both mom and dad, while safe and comfortable for your little one, Simply Good™ products were develop and design with parents needs and demands in mind, to help today’s busy parents simplify their lifestyles through our innovative, practical and stylish products making their life just more convenient and children happier, providing them with attractive, clever and practical solutions.
When I took a look at our Simply Good Square Diaper Bag the first thing I noticed was the carrying handles. There are three ways I could carry it . . . as a backpack, on my shoulder, or clipped to my stroller. I like that it’s so convertible because I usually carry my diaper bag on my shoulder but there are times when I need it to be more secured – like on my back. Of course, when I’m using my stroller I like to use stroller clips to keep the bag within easy reach. I also like that the shoulder strap can be completely removed rather than having to stuff it into the bag to hide it.
The next thing I looked at were the pockets. I like lots of pockets and compartments to keep everything organized and in it’s place. If there’s one thing I can’t stand is trying to find something buried on the bottom of my diaper bag. The Simply Good diaper bag has 3 main compartments each with smaller compartments and pockets – some meshed, some with velcro closures, some with zippered tops.
There are also elastic straps to help keep some of your larger items in place.
And if that’s not enough, there’s even an insulated outer pocket to keep a bottle nice and chilled.
However, one of my favorite feature is the removable changing pad. You can store it separately in the large back pocket for when you want to use it on a changing table . . .
Or you can use the velcro to attach it to the inside of the front pocket so you can use your diaper bag when a changing table is not available.
Folded in half and tucked into the pocket
We found this to be very convenient when we needed to change Kaila on her seat while on the plane and when we were out on a picnic.
Some of the other nice touches are an ID holder, a removable coin purse, an interior velcro strap that currently holds a medium-sized zippered pouch which can contain a wipes case and some diapers, and a plastic D-ring to hold your child’s favorite small toy.
All this is made from a 100% waterproof heavy-duty synthetic material with no PVC. Just by handling the bag I can tell that it’s sturdy, well-made, and will last for a very long time. I also like that the surfaces are easy to clean since I can’t stand a dirty diaper bag.
The Simply Good Diaper Bag has everything I could ever want . . . and more (however, I wouldn’t mind having one in pink). It’s a great way to keep my things in place and easy to find. Because when you’re out with 3 young kids, being organized is a definite must!

Happy Family is a leading brand of premium organic food for your entire family. Happy Family makes it possible to choose affordable and healthy organic options. Included in this line of wonderful products is their line of foods specifically for your baby and toddler, called HappyBaby.
HappyBaby is a great alternative to store processed baby food. Their brand prides itself on being just as healthy and delicious as homemade! You can feel safe choosing HappyBaby for your child knowing its all organic, with 100% natural ingredients. Their foods contain no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, GMOs, or preservatives.
HappyBaby foods come in 3 steps to guide your baby along to more solid foods. Products range from trying a single unique food, on to food combinations, and lastly meal groups. These products come in sealed packages that are eco-friendly, BPA, and phthalate free.
* For every package you buy, you and HappyBaby partner with Project Peanut Butter to help feed malnourished children in Malawi. *
For your growing toddler there is HappyMunchies! Made with whole grain corn and 60% less sodium than the leading toddler snacks, so you can feel good about offering a healthy snacking option. HappyMunchies are also kosher certified and recommended/developed by renowned pediatrician Dr. Bob Sears.
I had the wonderful and exciting opportunity to review some of the wonderful products that are part of the Happy Family foods line. I was excited to review this wonderful line of products, as I babysit my 2 year old nephew five days a week while his mother is at work. I love the organic ingredients this brand provides, and I was curious to see how he would react to these foods, compared to his usual store brand toddler based choices.
My nephew’s favorite out of the items we received was this little combo I put together for him using both the Broccoli, Kale, and Cheddar Cheese HappyMunchies, combined with the Cheddar Cheese and Carrot HappyMunchies! He loves this fun tasty mix. I even tried it myself just to see how they tasted, and surprisingly, not bad if I do say so myself!
Another one of the Happy Family items that my nephew loved was the Strawberry Organic Puffs. This is a great finger food that can go anywhere with you. We’ve been taking this one with us to the park! What’s nice is these puffs are sweetened with 100% fruit juice, so they contain half the sugar of other store toddler puffs.
I’ve actually shared how much he loves his puffs with my sister. I told her I’m going to buy some more of his favorites to keep around the house and I shared the website with her so she could purchase some for their home as well! She was just as impressed as I was with the quality of these foods compared to the leading store brand options. I would recommend Happy Family foods to any mom or caregiver out there looking for a tasty and fun option for the children in their life.
