With the amount of Cheerios my family consumes, we usually have to buy in bulk. However, those really big bulk boxes make it a little difficult for the kids to make their own breakfast. So what we usually have to do is pour the cereal into another smaller storage container for easy access. Now, this works just fine but it really is an extra step for me. Thankfully, Cheerios has come up with a solution . . . a new 2 box Cheerios pack.
Not only does this 2 box Cheerios pack make my life easier but it also makes it easier to share our favorite cereal with the rest of our family. Like 77% of the female population, I usually can’t get through the day without some kind of snack. For me, the craving hits right around the middle of the afternoon and I find myself searching the pantry for chips, pretzels, or something sweet. Luckily, I was recently introduced to Dole Real Fruit Bites.
Dole Real Fruit Bites combine three healthy favorites – fruit, yogurt and whole grain oats – into one delicious taste. Each bite-size piece is made from real Dole dried fruit, coated with yogurt and sprinkled with toasted whole grain oats.

We received all three flavors to try out for ourselves – Mango, Pineapple and Apple.
Each bag contains 6 individually wrapped 80-90 calorie pouches which make them the perfect on-the-go snack. Just throw some into your purse, diaper bag, or briefcase and you’re all set! You can even leave some in the car, like I do, for those times when you’re stuck in traffic.
They’re also perfect for the kids to snack on, too. The girls’ school has adopted a healthy snack policy which means no sugary snacks on campus. As much as I like this idea, it makes packing the kids’ bags a little more difficult. With Dole Real Fruit Bites, I can now pack their bags in record time.
But how do they taste? When I opened my first pouch I was pleasantly surprised at how big the fruit chunks were. We eat a lot of yogurt covered fruit in our home and we usually find that the pieces are in tiny circles. This makes me wonder how the fruits are processed since they’re all the same shape and texture no matter what kind of fruit they are. The Dole Real Fruit Bites are larger in size and come in different natural-looking shapes. When you bite into them you can tell that it’s the real thing. Even the pineapple chunks have that stringy fiber things in them . . . just like you’re biting into a real pineapple!
And with no trans fat these snacks are a good source of Vitamin C for my family. But of course, they don’t know this. All they know is that it tastes great! Get some for your family today!
