What Do You See?
As you probably already know, I’ve installed a theme switcher plugin where you can choose the theme that you prefer to view. All you have to do is click on one of the options in the sidebar.
However, it’s come to my attention that my themes may look a little weird in certain browsers. Mike of Be a Good Dad has generously been trying to help me fix the “Fly Away” theme and has already taken care of the major issues. He’s a lifesaver! If you have any technical questions, he’s the one to see since he LOVES to do these things.
So, my question is . . . How does my theme look to you? If you could please let me know which theme you’re looking at and in which browser, I’d really appreciate it!
Update from Mike: Okay. I think I got the main problem fixed. Could you all drive up the pageviews for IslandLife808 and see if anything looks particularly bad? My goal was to fix the right sidebar/main content issue.
The issue with the layout being so wide that you have to scroll is a separate issue at this point. That would take some major changing. The original layout is 1100 pixels wide, so unless your screen can show more than that, you will need to scroll.
*Apparently, the problem was with my flooble code missing some kind of tag. See, I told you he’s a genius!*

I see the pink one and all the posts are at the bottom. It looks broken but then, I use ie.
When I click on the Flyaway one, all looks cool!

I use IE, and I see the pink shopping theme, and all the posts are at the bottom!
I have the same problem with IE. The pink shopping one has all the posts on the bottom and at first, I thought you were missing!!!! The flyaway one looks wonderful though
I like the Fly Away one, but I think the Pink Shopper is more “you.” But Pink shopper needs to be scrolled left and right on Firefox.
Both look and work fine on Firefox. And I’ve been meaning to tell you– I just love your tag line.
Im viewing the one in pink whee the lady is holding the shopping bags, and everything looks fine. Im using firefox browser.
and I thought I was losing it. I am using fly away (?) it’s green, because on the pink one I have to scroll down forever and things get all bunched up. ie, I was unable to comment on how much your previous slideshow made me miss hawaii. Is it July yet? yeah vacation in KONA…I hope. I use IE as well, seems to be a problem.
Yeah i guess it does need to be scrolled left and right…i didnt notice that part…i was just looking to see if anyting was overlapping or not.
I use IE. Everything used to be okay with the Pink Shopper, but now all of the posts are at the bottom. Fly away looks great. I do prefer the Pink Shopper theme, though.
Firefox looks great
I think it’s official. With IE the shopping theme is screwy (posts at the bottom… I’m just glad it’s not ME!). I’ve not tried the Fly away theme yet… let me run do that.
Okay, everyone is right (surprise!) The fly-away theme works fine in IE… but I like the Pink Shopper one more, even with having to scroll down. Maybe it’s ’cause that’s how I got to know you, but it feels more “right.”
I like the shopper template. Pinks my favorite color, and I like the graphics. It is so you!
Looks like I need to get the pink theme working more cleanly pretty soon to keep everybody happy. I’ll leave another comment when I think I have it more functional and ask everybody to test it.

I haven’t checked out the other themes, but the pink shopping one comes up for me and while everything is in place/order, the articles appear alone at the bottom of the page in the middle and I have to scroll down to get to them. This is in IE 7, Mozilla Firefox seems to be fine with it. I used to hate Explorer until they came out with 7.0.

I like the pink shopper too… but the post are being pushed to the bottom. I think your sidebars might be too full as yesterday your “Recent Purchases” were in the area where your posts are supposed to go.

Everything looks good to me, I’m glad the shopping girl is back.
I was able to see both. Last night I couldn’t leave a comment but today I can.
I use Firefox, and in “FlyAway” the layout is perfect, especially since there’s only one sidebar (left side).
With Island Shopper, the text rolls over to the right since you have sidebars on both sides.
I love the beach theme best (viewing in Firefox 2.0) but the shopping one is a close second. Who designs your themes? I’ve thought about getting a personalized one for Robinson County, but don’t have a clue what I want.
The beach theme is by Heather at Swank. The pink shopper one was done by Goofy Girl. I’ll email you their info.
