Yup, thanks to Elizabeth of Look At Us Now! and Dawn of Kids, Cats, Books - What Else Is There?, I’m officially hooked. I don’t know if I should thank them or disown them.
With everything going on right now, I must be insane to find another reason to be on the computer. Yet I can’t help but add Facebook on to my list of daily stops.
What’s so great about it? Here are some of the things that you can do:
- Give each other virtual gifts
- Do stuff to your friends like a chest bump, dropkick, tickle, headbutt, or high five
- Write a message on another person’s wall
- Share what’s on your book shelf or music library
- Show the bloggy world how cute your kids are
- Sell items in the Marketplace
Where else could you do all that in one place? Stop by and check it out. If you decide to join in on the fun, let me know so I can add you as a friend. We could all use more friends, right?
What’s one of your daily internet stops? Well, besides An Island Life, of course. *wink*

Yep! I’m right there with ya! I joined Facebook recently too and I’m hooked. I have no friends on there but I still plug along with it. I have a MySpace page I go to almost daily too. Besides those, I do my blog, my blogroll, my email, and my paid survey sites. Way too much!

I spend most of my time on facebook, then I visit all of my favorite blogs, then I go to my mommy message board that I’ve been a member of for almost four years…. I just don’t know what I’ll do when I go back to work in two weeks!

Facebook is brilliant. It gets major points simply for not being as garish and obnoxious as MySpace. The new “Facebook Applications” platform also allows you to add lots of goodies… but goodies that generally have to behave themselves. The stream of friends’ updates in the News Feed lets you keep up with folks without bothering them (which may or may not be a good thing). I stopped responding to MySpace requests months ago (most of them are spam anyway). Facebook’s the latest hotspot for the web set!

I’ve been addicted to FB for a few months now, my husband has even given in too! I’ll find you… sometimes I feel like such a stalker though…
I mostly do facebook, and email, but maybe once a week or when I think of it, I check my bloglines (like tonight, I have over 900 blog posts not read! ) you are probably my 2nd person I check. I always love coming to your blog to see if you’ve posted pics or stories about Hawaii! Hopefully we will be back next year!
(I'll take good care of it.)
