Mine also likes to sit on the corner of the bed in anticipation of my head hitting the pillow so she can jump into that area between my chest and chin and lay her head on my extended out arm. So often I wake up with a nose full of fur, chase her away only to have her sit and wait till I am unconseous again. We have the same cat..

We have four cats and one of them, the one that is supposed to be my daughters, will do whatever she can to get next to me on the sofa when she is inside. She climbs up and sleeps on my leg or she finagles her way into my lap under my laptop tray. I've seen this kitty too...it knows that we have a dog and do not want it in our backyard...yet apparently my backyard is a major cat highway listed on cattrails.com (I did not know this until my friend Bone told me so!) Tonight this very cat was walking on my fence sticking it's tongue out and blowing raspberries at my dog.
