Bound for Cincinnati, Ohio

As you know, I travel for a living. However, I have a trip coming up that has got me very excited! Why?

I’m headed to the Procter & Gamble Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio on an all expense paid trip to attend The Pampers Mommy Bloggers Event! How cool is that? And did I mention it’s ALL EXPENSES PAID?

It’s all happening at the end of July where 15 Mommy Bloggers will have the opportunity to meet with Pampers Executives to discuss their products, charitable partnerships, and their dedication to mommies and babies throughout the world. We’ll be going on private tours as well as attending discussions, presentations, and dinners. They’re even setting aside time for us to blog!

So now I’m off to do a little research on the company and it’s affiliations. After all, I don’t want to look like a complete dork while I’m there! Does anyone have any questions, concerns, or suggestions that you’d like me to address with Pampers? Just let me know.

I just saw today at the store that they actually make a size 7 diaper! As a mom with a 2-year-old who’s not potty trained yet, but growing out of size 6 diapers, I was extremely glad to see that. I’ve always been a Huggies fan, but this may just sway me over to Pampers. :)

Congrats on the trip – sounds like fun!

How awesome for you! No, it’s been a long time since I needed diapers for my kids, but I can honestly say, Pampers were the brand of choice in this family. They were the ONLY ones that my kids didn’t leak from!

    Wow, how cool!

I LOVED Pampers when my kids were at that stage. They were worth the extra money.

Well, I’m way past the diaper stage…although as old as I am, I may be back in them soon – hee hee. Does Proctor and Gamble make Depends? I am so kidding…but only a little.

All kidding aside, that is really cool that you get to do that!

We use Pampers as a back up to our cloth diapers. Ditto to the above comment, they were the only ones that didn’t leak (and also seemed to be the softest in general).
Question for you though: Can you ask them about what they put inside the diaper, the manufacturing process, etc? I want to know from two sides, 1) how safe are all the leftover chemicals for our babies, and 2) how are they doing about being environmentally friendly with their manufacturing process and by products.
    Thanks!

Though Pristine is not using Pampers already, I have one question: Why is it that the Pampers sold in Japan is better in quality than the ones sold in the Philippines?

    1. The tape is wider in Japan
    2. The front part where the tape should be placed is wider in Japan too. Meaning, sometimes, baby’s skin is irritated because the tape of Pampers sold in the Philippines touches the skin because of the lack of the front cover…sorry I can’t explain this too well!

But basically just wondering why the same brand but different quality in two different countries…

Have fun on the trip. You are so lucky to be selected!

Pampers have been our friends for both of my boys. I switched to Huggies for pull-ups with my oldest because they had the option of adjusting them if needed with the sides. I wish Pampers had this options (it would be nice to continue with the Pampers Points).

Another question I have is about coupons. Why do some people receive coupons in the mail from Pampers forever, while others (like myself) never seem to get them even when I have signed up for them. As a loyal customer it is quite annoying.

Have a safe and wonderful trip :)

I am a tried and true Pampers mom…I’ve tried others…nothing ever works like Pampers Cruisers…nothing comes close even. But can you ask them to take Dora off of their pull ups? I can’t stand Dora and I tell my toddler she doesn’t like her either hoping she’ll just wind up hating Dora.

I would like to see Pampers try to go a bit more “green.” I’d like to see some unbleached diapers and diapers that are biodegradable.

  24. 24

This is a perfect example of where I want to be (referring to the email I sent you).

Anyhoo, my first two used Pampers but my 2yr old is allergic to them or something. They started giving him rashes and I quit using them and he got better. I started again, the rashes came back.

Wonder why they would do that???

Oh how cool is this!!! I am so happy for you Kailani. I just wish I could be a mouse in your pocket (giggle). You couldn’t sound or look like a dork if you tried so they chose the perfect person for this! If I think of something, I will let you know but mainly I would just love to know more about their ’1 pkg = 1 vaccine’ program and how it works.

Thanks for sharing your fun! I expect a full report now, ya hear? ;)

Ask about the price, I mean we used them and they were great and all but I found them cheapest at walmart in one city, not all walmarts were that cheap but this one had the big package for 8.99 whereas the other places were 16.99 and up.

    Sure.
Ask them why their EasyUps are smaller cut than Pullups, leak and aren’t velcroed on the side like Pullups. I find coupons for EasyUps all the time but can’t stand them.
Their wipes are the best though.
