My Thoughts

Both of my sister-in-laws just had babies and also struggled to find fashionable maternity clothing to wear to work and for special occasions. When I heard of Mine For Nine, I fell in love with the concept and thought it ingenious. Why didn’t I think of that? I couldn’t wait to give their clothing service a try.

I received a $50 credit and ended up renting 2 beautiful shirts from Mine For Nine! My order arrived only about 2 days after I ordered and I couldn’t wait to try on my new tops. I received an Elastic Shearing Top by Maternal America for only $22 a month, which is awesome! It usually retails for $87 and is gorgeous. This shirt is unbelievably comfortable and form-fitting to show off those adorable pregnant belly months. I love the detail on the shirt and that it is sewn diagonally, which really adds an overall elegance to the clothing. It can be worn casually or with slacks or a shirt to dress it up a bit. This is my favorite shirt!

I also received a Ring Top by Maternal America in Beige for only $18 a month ($71 retail price). Olivia: Princess For A Day DVD Review

We recently reviewed the newest Olivia DVD, Olivia: Princess For A Day, and the kids were thrilled. There’s just something about that cute little piggy that makes the kids pay attention and watch contently. We’ve watched the entire DVD and all the episodes were wonderful. The kids always sing along to the theme song at the beginning of each show. It’s very catchy and I can’t seem to get it out of my head.

Olivia: Princess For A Day includes these 9 episodes:

1. Princess For A Day – a double length feature in which Olivia pretends to be a princess with Francine and Daisy. It just so happens that  a real princess is coming to town and Olivia just has to meet her! Olivia, in turn, gets to see what life is really like as royalty.

2. Olivia’s Old West Treasure Hunt- Olivia’s class goes on a field trip to an old mining town and learn about a buried treasure. She wants to search for it, but it’s time to go. However, Olivia is in luck because her teacher can’t find the keys to the school bus!

3. Olivia Plays Hotel- Francine, Julian and Olivia decide to play hotel on a snow day. While exploring the hotel, they become convinced that it’s haunted!

4. Olivia Goes International- Olivia must pick a foreign country for a school project, but can’t decide which one to pick.

5. Olivia Becomes A Chef- Olivia cooks her mom a great surprise.

6. Olivia Tip Top Taper- While practicing for her tap dance recital, Olivia hurts her ankle. She’s determined to still be a part of the recital and tries to figure out creative ways to do so.

7. Olivia’s Fashion Show- After attending a fashion show with her grandmother, Olivia is inspired to put on her own fashion show featuring her friends.

8. Olivia Paints A Mural- Olivia visits an art museum and decides she will create a mural with each of her family members.

9. Olivia Plans A Tea Party- When Olivia’s Mom gets sick, Olivia helps out with the party planning business. When her mom falls asleep, Olivia tries to stay keep everything in order.

 My Thoughts

Olivia is one of the few cartoons I enjoy watching with the kids. Each of the episodes inspires creativity and imagination. When the kids watch Olivia, they want to emulate her and also create a mural, have a tea party, or go on a treasure hunt. It’s so fun to see my children get so into a show and be so inspired to do something out of the ordinary.

With 107 minutes of entertainment, fans of Olivia will be thrilled to receive this DVD.

Glow Baby My Story… A Book Of Memories Memory Book Review

Not until I was pregnant did I realize just how difficult it was to find a baby book that fit what I wanted. So many just provided fill-in-the-blank questions about the birth and didn’t provide much space for other special memories, occasions, pictures and items. The Glow Baby My Story…A Book Of Memories is a wonderful book which provides the much needed space to write special details that so many other baby books fail to offer.

Now parents can easily organize their child’s artwork, certificates, school photos and other special items into large pockets and quickly jot down special moments and milestones to remember.

 

My Thoughts

In addition to each of the baby books I have for the boys, I started journals in notebooks to detail special moments I didn’t want to forget. I knew I wanted to provide a special book for them to read once they got older, but what I didn’t realize was how easily these notebooks fall apart over the years of toting them around, moving, and being around the kids. This is why I was so excited to receive the My Story…A Book of Memories by Glow Baby. This memory book doesn’t include all of those fill-in-the-blank nonsense questions other baby and memory books often do. Instead, the book provides an enormous amount of space to fill, day after day, with those special moments, occasions, milestones and more. There are no age limits either. The pages also include spaces for pictures and other special momentos, which can be pasted on them, but my favorite part about the memory book is the 12 pockets it contains for filling with other items. You can put other pictures, artwork by the kids and other significant documents in the pockets for safe keeping. Plus, the outer cover is very sturdy and will last for many, many years to come.

I love that there is finally a book providing enough space for my long-winded writings! It’s a writer’s dream memory book. This book is a must-have for parents and would make a perfect baby shower gift! I received the cornflower blue memory book, but it is also available in Green Apple and Fuchsia. This is a truly unique item that any parent would love.

My Thoughts

I’ve never tried a supplement containing Acai before, so I was very curious. When I first started taking the supplement, I didn’t immediately notice a difference. However, after about a week, I noticed I wasn’t getting as sleepy during the day as I usually do.
