At 6:17 AM you want to know what’s for DINNER? I’m still workin’ on what’s for breakfast! Our refrigerator is out of order right now, so I don’t have anything on hand. I’m going to have to go to the store and get something… so I’ll be back later to find out what everyone else is having – and maybe steal a new idea!

I’m not sure – I think the guys are taking me out for a steak dinner (my birthday dinner – boo – another year older *sigh*) which means we’ll end up spending a small fortune and I’ll leave feeling guilty that we literally consumed $50 bucks.
Who knew paper could taste so good. Pass the salt, will ya?

I’m thinking Beef Stew. I’ll have to get it in the crock pot soon, though, or come up with plan B! It’s perfect weather for stew – cold in the morning and night, and a slight chill all day!

Oh my, I have no idea. Since I’m usually pooped by the end of the week, Friday night is ‘pick’ night for the girls, so they get to choose (within reason) what they want. Abby usually chooses toasted frozen waffles (that she can make by herself) and Hannah wants peanut butter and jelly. Becca goes back and forth. Ron and I’ll eat whatever we can scrounge up.

Kailani, when NY and I heard Israel sing “Somewhere over the rainbow” at the end of the TV series ER, we went out the next day and bought his CD “IZ.” He truly was a talent and must be missed greatly in Hawaii. We miss his music.

oh that’s easy! Left-over Turkey!
I make all my meals with “plan-overs” I cook something big and then serve the left-overs the next night. This Turkey took more than just two nights to finish…love it!
I grew up in a family of 6 and had to learn how to cook early…so I’ve always been used to making large meals. Now that we’re just 3 it’s easy to have plan overs. LOL!
What’s for dinner tomorrow should be the real question…I think I need to go shopping cuz I have one of those recalled pizzas in my freezer.

I cooked an off-brand Hamburger Helper-like lasagna in a skillet meal, only I used ground turkey instead of hamburger. And we had a green salad to go with it. Pretty good, easy and fairly inexpensive!

That song is extremely special to me. I love it, yet it makes me tear up. It’s the song playing on the website of the Bed & Breakfast where we stayed in Maui, and it played on the helicopter while we were taking our tour over Maui, and it was in my mind often while were were in Hawaii. It’s also on some Hawaiian music CD’s I bought. Love it.
As for supper, it was simply pizza that DH made.
