Aloha Friday – Week 18

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing heavy or too thought-provoking.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:

If you were a SuperHero, what would your SuperPower be?

My SuperPower would be the ability to slow down time around me. However, I would still function in regular time. Can you imagine how much I could get done around here?

I’d like to have healing powers.

  2. Cathi says:

That is a tough one. I wish I had some profound answer. I would want strengh. Physical strengh so I could open my own jars. I wouldn’t mind being able to fly either but that would mean I’d have to get over my fear of heights.

  3. Deborah says:

Good question! Only one superpower? Hmm…I must choose carefully, then. I would like to have the super power to hold my tongue…and only say kind and loving things.

  4. momto3cubs says:

My first thought was to be able to play with time–speeding it up or stretching it out as needed!

    Love the music :)

  5. Elizabeth says:

ooohhh I really like the time-slowing one. I hadn’t thought of that one before. Personally, an elastic body would be pretty sweet… However, would that help me retain my youthful appearance or would the sag be worse… hmmmm ;)

Elizabeth’s last blog post..A few more, for good measure

  6. Corrie says:

Um, hands down – the ability to split molecules -namely, my own.

If only I could be in 2 or 3 places at once.

Corrie’s last blog post..It’s all in how you look at it

  7. i want to be like Storm in X-men, able to control the elements – water, air, etc., or like Prue in Charmed, telekinetic and atral projection, or Claire in Heroes, indestructible!

Charlotte (Charmed Life)’s last blog post..Papi and Baby

  8. Sher :) says:

Oh I love this one. :) I would want my super power to be flying. Just like the birds. :)

  10. Melissa says:

Hmmm…. that’s tough…I wish I could read minds. Perhaps I would understand my Little Bug better :)

  11. Heather says:

I like Rach’s answer! I would like to have the ability to zap cellulite with my laser beam eyes! Then I’d be ready to wear a swimsuit again.

    Heather’s last blog post..Aloha Friday

  12. Jacki says:

Ummmm…the ability to stop, fastforward and rewind time. :-)

  13. melli says:

Hehehe… I don’t wanna be a SuperHero! But I do want the power! I would want teleportation! Ahhhh… the gift to be able to go anywhere in an instant! YES! Funny thing… my security word for this post is “travel”. LOL!

I did play today — my question is up!

    melli’s last blog post..Hm… February 1st… go figure… AND… Aloha Friday!

  14. jHS says:

DEFINITELY the ability to read minds!

What most people don’t realize is that what separates good litigators from lousy ones is the ability to understand and read people. And the ability to strategize based upon what your opponent might be thinking and planning. Frequently you have to try to figure out what they do and do not know about your case.

Can you imagine how easy it would all be if I could simply look into their heads and gather up all that valuable information?

    Wow.

    jHS’s last blog post..Wordless Wednesday

  15. I think I’d want the ability to be in about 6 places at once. And one of them would be a nice, warm beach! :)

    Deb – Mom of 3 Girls’s last blog post..Aloha Friday #18

  16. I would love the power to help the people I love with things that make their lives difficult.

I think I would be too afraid to be able to read minds. It sounds fun, but may scare me with my kids and students when I go back to teaching.

How funny that I posed my Super Hero TheAngelForever today.

    TGIF

  17. Qtpies7~ says:

I actually have a superpower. I make milk.

    OK, for real, lol.
I thought I would like to know what people are thinking so that I could figure out my kids or whatever, but after watching Hero’s I know that would be tough because if they are thinking bad things about me I would have to defend myself, and I couldn’t stop because I am not that mature.

Super strength would be bad because I would have hurt my teen when I threw a can of soda at him last night…. hmmmm.

    X-ray vision… YUCK!

My husband says I could not have laser beam eyes, that would be bad.

Flying wouldn’t do me any good but for fun, unless I had super strength to carry the car with me for the groceries. And super strength is not good for someone with a temper.

So, I would have to say healing, not because it is glamorous, but becuase that is all that I could handle.

Qtpies7~’s last blog post..Boon review and giveaway!

  18. Qtpies7~ says:

Oh, I know! I need the power to repel spiders! If I was around they couldn’t be, they’d have to run for thier little lives, like I was kryptonite for Spiders!!! Yeah!!! I’d never see a spider again!

Qtpies7~’s last blog post..Boon review and giveaway!

Oh how I miss Hawaii! Got married there 12 years ago 2/14, went backfor our 6th anniversary . . . I can’t wait to go back again! Aloha!

The super power I’d love to have is the power to control my temper . . . I am VERY short on patience :-(

My fun super power would be the ability to eat all the ice cream I wanted with no side effects :-)

  22. Jessica K says:

I would like to have super speed. That way I could clean my house without it taking all day, and I could exercise without trying to set aside a big chunk of time for it. That would be awesome.

Jessica K’s last blog post..Stepping Out

  23. Brandie says:

  24. donetta says:

  30. Tiffany says:
