Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

We have different animanls here, I love Koala bears, but we don’e have them it’s too cold. We do have Reindeer so I’d have to go with them, my kids like to feed the Alpacas and throw apples at the Reindeer, Reindeer might bite so we can’t feed them
Big fan of the giraffe. There is just something about them.
My favourite is giraffes, I was just looking at your trip to the zoo!! I can’t wait to go this summer:)
I love the giraffes and the monkeys.
My fave would have to be the lions. They are beautiful creatures although I have to say I have a healthy respect for them!

Oh this is a hard one! I love all animals. But I think this time I’ll go with the hippo. Just something about how dangerous they can be and how graceful in the water at the same time!
Hmm…I love all the animals! I guess my faves would be tigers (especially white tigers), elephants, and giraffes! I can’t wait to take A&W to the zoo when the weather gets a bit nicer
My favorite zoo animal has always been the grey elephant. I loved to draw elephants when I was little and make them out of clay.
Now I would say my favorite animal is a turtle. I have been making them out of clay and they are both cute and fun.

I have always always loved the giraffe. Ever since I was a little girl.. lol I am not sure why!!
Seals have always been my favourite.
It has to be the monkeys! They are so cute!
We actually just went to the zoo today and my favorite is the Tiger.
As much as they drive me crazy with splashing and stink like fish (gag) I can’t go to the zoo without seeing the penguins.

My favorite zoo animal are the monkeys. I can watch them play and swing around all day.
I love the elephants!
It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I really love the Meerkats.
I’ve always been partial to birds because of the colors but I like looking at the tapir and wondering “How’d He do that?”
The tigers! Our tigers like to swim and it’s really neat to watch.
I love the elephants. They are so graceful for such large animals.
I just can’t say. I do love the tigers, tho. So pretty. So magnificient.
Hmm, I’m not really sure I have a favorite. I do like penguins though, and the elephants and giraffes.

Seals . . . when active they are so much fun.
My fave zoo animal is the giraffe! They are the tallest animal in the world and I’ll bet they have the longest lashes too than any other animal too! *L*
Zebras
The orangutans! I took my 6 year old neice to the zoo once and the orangutan had had a baby that she was nursing. They were behind glass. When the baby was done it came over to the window and put it’s hand up on the glass and my neice put her hand up to his. They kept looking at each other through the glass. It was the sweetest thing. She cried so hard, she wanted to keep it.
I love Tigers!
I love them all. I adore the zoo but the Tulsa zoo has some tree frogs that roam free in one portion of their rainforest exhibit. They are tiny, bright and adorable. Hugs, Jen

My favorite Zoo animal? Hmmmm, probably the giraffes. I love their long necks, and the way they run.
I love the lions and tigers. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I am a cat person. Even though they are so big, they look so cuddly.

The giraffe because of how the exhibit is set up here. They come right up to you so you can pet them and feed them.
I love leopards. We went to Africa on a mission trip and got to see one in the Serengetti. Oh my heart. It was magnificant. Thanks for hosting this fun carnival each week. Blessings.

I LOVE the penguins and the monkeys with the red behind! The penguins just look soo neat and the monkeys are always doing something active!

I adore giraffes and I can watch them for hours.
Monkeys and Chimpanzees without a doubt! Have always loved watching them and all their funny antics and my kids loved themm too when they were liitle! We lhave lived near some great Zoos ~ Balboa Zoo in San Diego and the Zoo in Washington D.C.!
ooooooooo That’s a toughy… Probably get most excited over the kangaroo.. but if we’re talking traditional… lol.. Probably the Bears… oh wait the monkeys, no wait the snakes… oh heck… i can;t decide..
There’s no real zoo in Maine, but there a couple of “animal parks”. The parks usually house rescued exotic critters. You get personal tours and you get MUCH closer to the animals than one usually does at a zoo. last time we went we got to feed M&Ms to a black bear, we got to watch a hyena devour and annihilate a deer leg (scary!), we got roared at and charged by a a male lion (thank God for sturdy fencing!), we got slimed by drooling camels, and one of our kids got sprayed by a male tiger (Eeewwwww!)
My fave? The black bear. He was friendly and funny and sweet and entertaining.
Oh that’s a tough call – I’m torn between the wild cats and the monkeys (I don’t have a specific type of either, I love them all).
Gosh this is hard, I have to say I love the Giraffes
Mine is the giraffe. I think it is because they are so tall.
We have a cool polar bear exhibit, so even though it’s not necessarily my fav animal, it is my favorite ZOO animal! Great question!
I have always been partial to polar bears too…my hubby and I are huge polar bear fans… they’re so cute for being so big!
any of the baby animals. We get disappointed when our zoo’s nursery is empty, but of course that means the mammas are taking care of the babies themselves so that’s good! but we don’t get to see the babies close up.
I wish that our zoo was better made, most of the time when we go the animals are already asleep cuz they’re bored. sigh

Pandas and orangutans.
I like gorillas and lions. For years, I’ve had recurring dreams about lions – that one was on the loose somewhere near me and I was trying to get away before it found me. They scare the heck out of me, but, I think they are really beautiful.
Okay, it’s not monkeys! I hate monkeys! I know, kind of surprising with a site called Blue Monkey Butt. No, I love the elephants!

A Zebra!!
St. Louis has a great zoo and we love going, it is free too. The children’s zoo part has Missouri River Otters and they are my favorite!
I love the elephant and the giraffe. Sadly the giraffe at the local zoo died before my son could see it.

Oh, that is such a hard one because I am a HUGE animal lover–I love the monkeys!! But then I really, REALLY love the big cats (tigers and lions!!) They are JUST so gorgeous!!) And–then of course, the penquins make me laugh! So, I guess you can just say I love them ALL!!
My favorite animal is the Jaguar – such a pretty animal, but I’m glad it’s behind a glass barrier.

Giraffes are my favourite. I never thought much of them until I saw them at one of those wildlife places in Europe. I was absolutely mesmerized by how tall and beautiful they are.
Giraffes and monkeys are my favorites, but I really like the elephants and penguins too!

We kind of gravitate around to different people. My mom is probably the most “go to” person.

Hmm, I’m not sure i can narrow it down to ONE…but I like most large mammals.
The animals are so fun to watch, I think my favorite would be the meerkats. Cute!

Panda bears. I saw them this summer at the Atlanta zoo. So adorable! All these cute little kids were around saying, “look mommy, it’s Kung Fu Panda”. My kids are teens – I miss that stuff
i’ve always liked the monkeys because they usually are pretty active and entertaining.
I love the tigers and lions. They are just so majestic.
At our local zoo they have an amazon exhibit, and I really like the pygmy marmosets–they are just so cute!
My favorite zoo animal is the capybera! I love them because they look like giant guinea pigs!!! They always make me laugh.
Otters! They’re always so playful and fun to watch!

Baby koalas! Last time we were at the San Francisco Zoo, they had a baby koala. Oh it was so cute, and so tiny.
