Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

Where’s the last place you visited while on vacation?

My last two vacas were to Charleston, SC…one of my FAVE places…and before that it was Oahu!!
We went to San Diego at the end of October. My husband had a conference there so we all went a few days early and the G-man and I got to spend 4 days there with him. It was great!
Great Wolf Lodge for a few days after Christmas. Does that count as a vacation?
We went to San Francisco, actually I met my husband there because he was there on business. So we travelled around San Fran and went up to Sonoma to the wine country. But our last big vacation was to your beautiful Hawaii – Kauai and Maui – absolutely gorgeous!

I miss it (and my parents) tremendously.

the last place we visited while on vacation was Knotts Berry Farm. but we also saw Disneyland & American Girl Place while we were there in So CA. DD had a blast.
The last real vacation that hubby and I took was six years ago before we had kids. We are going to Walt Disney World with the boys this spring
Seriously not awake here (thought I typed the place too). We went to Las Vegas on that last trip.
VEGAS for my 30th birthday in October- with 4 of my best girlfriends. It was FABULOUS!
We went to the beach in Washington, Ocean Shores Three years ago.
We took a Disney cruise to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. It was lovely!
Does a stay-cation at home count? My SIL took the kids for a week. All 3 of them!

Well, the last place was LA… we actually just got back a couple weeks ago. We went for Hubby’s BDay! We had a blast. Internationally was Mexico… it was such a beautiful place (and, great food).
Disney World! And that is my next vacation, too!

My last vacation was a long weekend in Vegas. I can’t wait to take another vacation, but we’ll wait until the babies are a bit older.
Last place, Arizona to visit friends… next place… Saudia Arabia!!! We leave in 2 weeks and we’ll be oh so close to Grace in Dubai yet no chance to visit.
I spent the night at Laiya beach with my family late last year.
Hmmm.. to Arizona to visit family.. before that was DisneyLand…that was our last “real” vacation!
The last place we went on vacation was disneyland in 2005…we are going to california again in march and planning on hitting sea world and disneyland again.
SNA–we went to the LA Zoo & the Aquarium of the Pacific.
On my last real vacation we took Big Brother (who was then an only child) to Sesame Place. It was so much fun. We are hoping to go again for a day this summer.
We had a family vacation last November on Marco Island, Florida. I’m not a huge fan of Florida, but I really did enjoy this little island, so peaceful and quiet.
hmmm the last REAL vacation we had was three years ago. we went to baguio city then sidetripped to la union beach to watch surfers.
it sounds like you’re asking us not where we went for vacation, but where we went while on vacation. so i’ll put my answer this way…
last vacation was to california for Christmas and the last place we visited while there were the tide pools.
had you asked this question next week, my answer would be different since i’m leaving tomorrow for a mini-vacation.

My last actual vacation-vacation was to the Bahamas on a cruise. However, I’ve taken a couple of weekend trips to the beach in Fl.
What is this “Vacation” you speak of, and how can I get one? LOL. Seriously, it’s been AGES since I’ve gone on vacation! I guess it would have to be a daytrip we took to Lake George last summer. I’m working on planning a trip to Disney though since I’ve never been!
We went to New York a couple of months ago and it was awesome!
The last place we went on vacation was Wisconsin Dells to their indoor water park. It’s something we do in October around my birthday. The girls had a great time!
Cancun………I miss the sand and sun!!!
The last vacation was visiting friends and family in Seattle – the vacation before that was Punta Cana in the Caribbean.
My lasy vacation was visiting m friend in TN.
We went to Myrtle Beach last year during the summer. We go every year, the same week, and have a ton of fun! Can’t wait to go back this year.
Our last vacation was to Destin Florida last July. It was so warm and nice….
The Boston Aquarium with our daughters last summer. Oh, how I need another vacation! Happy Aloha Friday!
The last place we went on ‘vacation’ was a 2-day trip to Washington DC about 4 years ago. Unfortunately we have yet to take a ‘real’ family vacation… Hopefully will be able to sometime soon though.

The last place I visited while on vaca was our vacation home at the Cape. Not glamorous BUT we like it… home away from home, private beach… its nice to get away once every few weeks!
We went to Mexico for Thanksgiving, November of 2007. It was pretty chilly, but we had a fun time!
we have a condo at the beach…so that’s where we go…A LOT.
Williamsburg, Virginia last Spring. I’d love to go back and visit soon. =)

We went to Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire and saw lots of family and ate tons of seafood! We also enjoyed a whale watch. It was a blast
PJust went in January!! Palm Springs, CA ~ Went to Golf tournament ~ Parents staying there for a month ~ Sister, Brother and both our kids all met up there! Fabulous place – the dark rocky mountains, the beautiful green valley and the palm trees and the blue sky – it is Spectacular! Hiking was awesome too! And Arts Fesitval in old town Palm Springs very cool
An actual vacation? We took the kids to Orlando when I was pregnant with Sam, so that was over 2 years ago. I don’t think we even went camping this past summer.
The west coast for a family reunion! We go every year.
we don’t do vacations. Last place we went together as a family was Kansas City, MO for my Granny B’s funereal over a year ago.
We went to N.Carolina for a graduation. That was years ago. I need a vacation!
Our last vacation was to Phoenix, AZ – minus the children – for our anniversary.
We went to the White Mountains in New Hampshire this past fall and had a blast!
Vacation? I really don’t know the meaning of the word. With family, work and a commercial fishing business we haven’t had time to take a vacation. Closest thing I’ve visited is the Gulf Of Mexico for a weekend trip offshore.
We just went to Jasper, AB, in the Rocky Mountains about 2 weeks ago! We went with some good friends and NO kids! We had fun skiing, shopping and exploring frozen canyons!

I went to Banner Elk and Boone, NC to snowboard.
We spent time with the Alaskan Brown Bears at Brooks Falls in Alaska. It was WILD!!!
We generally stay in-state, so Seattle (where I’m from) and Lake Wenatchee in the Cascades. The last out-of-state were Oregon 5 years ago and St. John in the USVI 8 1/2 years ago. I need to get out more!
Last year we took a wonderful cruise to several of the Hawaiian islands. It was WONDERFUL!! I love Hawaii!!!

More a vacation for my husband, but I still had fun.
We went to Hot Springs, Arkansas with friends! it was tons of fun, we went to a water park/amusement park.
Since I’m actually on it right now… It would have to be Orange Beach, AL. (Last week we did visit Disney.. now this week is Orange Beach)
The last time we went to Coronado (San Diego), California, we visited the tide pools at Point Loma. We also drove up to Carlsbad and took the kids to LEGOLand – fun!
Last one we took was to Tennessee…it was last March. We took the two boys and I was pregnant with our little girl.
