Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Today’s question is:
What’s the last purchase that you made?

I guess I would have to say lunch for myself on Wednesday! Before that, if you mean an actual item, I bought a book for my daughter while we were out having a mother-daughter day.
Groceries ewwww yuck!! wish i could have said something fun and exciting but I cant
Hmm, can I assume that you don’t mean the milk, apple juice, chocolate (for me) and Suzy Q’s (for Ron) that I picked up at Walgreens tonight?
Um, other than groceries, probably would be the plastic bins I bought after Christmas to organize the girls’ new stuff in.
At a store that would be groceries before the ice/snow storm Tuesday. Online I rented a stroller to use at Disney World.
I went to Albertsons and bought groceries. I’m upset at myself because when I got home I realized that if I had spent 16 more dollars I would have gotten a coupon for 15.00 off next time. Sometimes shopping with kids is a nightmare.
The last thing I bought was supper at McDonald’s on Monday night. We went to sign the final papers on our new house and it was late, we were tired and decided to just pick something up. Love me some FF’s!!
Hmmm… well, yesterday I exchanged a Christmas present for some super duper hand cream (it’s so dry my hands are dying) and before that… it was some groceries and a vest pattern to make a new vest for my father-in-law! It was his Christmas present, but seeing as he had to help me pick out the fabric it’s not done yet!
I actually just came back from Target and I bought myself an outfit!! The first time in YEARS that I have bought myself an adult, nice, complete outfit. AND it was LESS than $40. Shirt, Sweater, Pants and Jacket!! I love clearance items!!!
Tonight I had to buy a new lunch box for my son. Random, I know! Somehow through the holidays we’ve misplaced it!
Lunch today was my last purchase. But before that, I paid for registration fees and community tax. My last “for me” purchase was a movie ticket last Tuesday.
I can’t say what it is, cause it’s for Lori of Downs Gang!! *tee hee* Then she’d know from reading this and the surprise would be ruined!!
Photo thank you cards.
Last purchase in the store was lasagna noodles for Red’s birthday dinner. Last purchase online was for some herbs
besides dinner tonight, a wii system. and i’m having a blast playing it.
Two candy bars . . . but they are not for me . . . they are part of a gift for someone else. Wrong ones for me.
Yesterday I splurged on some new running shoes. My old Nikes were over 10 years old and getting a bit worn
I bought a frozen pizza for dinner last night. However, I burned it.
My last purchase was also groceries.
I bought a new booster seat for my son yesterday. Got a great deal and he will be so happy to get out of the 5 point harness seat.
A Smith & Wesson .380 hammerless revolver was purchased last night.
I bought dinner at the Wendy’s drive thru last night!
Well, I went on Land’s End yesterday and pretty much got sucked in with their clearance sale! They have really cute reindeer boots on sale and their winter coats so I purchase a bunch of things for next season, hoping my daughter would fit into them!
Nice to be back on Aloha Friday……missed it!
This is SO not glamorous…It was envelopes! I had something to mail and no envelopes, so I stopped by Wal-Mart after dropping my son off at school yesterday. I also bought a pink flamingo wood cutout for my daughter and a ladybug cutout for my son.
The last purchase I made was last week for a small storage container that has tree drawers. I use it to hold my scrapbooking stickers.
I actually have a good answer! I bought a few bath things from an Etsy shop for a friend’s birthday on Wednesday night. I’m excited about this gift. I hope she loves them!
Some colorful, bubble envelopes from Office Depot for mailing books for a book exchange. I mailed out several of my favorites I had sitting around, and am hoping I get some good ones in return!
Evan and I went to the grocery store yesterday to pick up a few things that I had to have for dinner!

Last Purchase was a Gallon of Milk, Gingerale, cough drops, and kleenex LOL I have a cold!!!
A mirror, a smoke detector and some batteries.
I bought Cyan and Magenta ink for my printer.
Wow. I spent over $11 buying lunch and drinks for myself for work yesterday. Two bottles of Dasani, a bottle of Diet Coke with Lime, a frozen meal, and I bought two bags of chips because they were buy one get one free. I have been nauseated for 8 days and the only thing that helps is barbeque chips. (no, not pregnant, just sick) It is the weirdest thing, but when I am sick, I eat chips and it helps.
After spending all that $$$, I only drank one water and part of the chips at work.
spinach for dinner
Groceries, off course. It seems to be where all my money goes. Thanks for doing this, it looks fun!!
Oh, I actually have something other than groceries!
Yesterday on my way to volunteer in my kids’ classrooms I picked up a Monster drink. I really don’t like carbonation and I never just drink stuff like that, but I’ve found that my brain just shuts off (I guess it doesn’t find the volunteering stimulating enough) and I totally start to fall asleep while I’m helping those cute little kindergarteners read thier little books.
I had been driving to a local quicki-mart in between the kindergartener and 1st grader’s classes in order to get an energy drink so that I don’t just totally nod off (plus it is miserable to feel that way).
So, now I just pick one up on my way before I even get there.
IT REALLY HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apple Juice, Hawaiian Punch and Hot cocoa
I just bought my DH the Rush Snakes and Arrows DVD, Its his birthday tomorrow.
( Well, unless you count the vanilla latte from SB I am drinking now…that really is the last thing I bought.)
Have a great weekend!

Well…..I’ve been on a cooking streak, so we just bought some new pans.
Hmm, two days ago I stopped at the Dollar store for gum and toothpaste and feminine products, and also bought some peanuts and sunflower seeds for snacks. Nothing too exciting, LOL.
The last thing I bought was 5 tins of Peppermint Bark from Trader Joe’s! I get hooked on this stuff every year, and it’s seasonal, so I have to stock up before it’s no longer on the shelves. If you haven’t tried it, don’t….it’s really addicting!
