Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

Today’s question is:

Who knows you better than anyone else?

I have something for you in here.

  4. My husband…he is my best friend and my secret keeper!!!

  5. Deborah says:

My husband and my Mom. I think it is a tie.

  6. Mr. Brownstone knows me best of all! Though I have to say that as they get older, my kids are giving him a run for his money!

  7. my husband. we were high school sweethearts so we’ve been together for a little over 33 years.

  8. Outside of God, that would have to be my husband.

  9. Cathi says:

    My husband knows me best.

  10. Dad of Divas says:

I would have to say my wife….

  11. Jenni says:

I think my husband does knows me the very best. But I have some good friends who come pretty close…

  12. Probably my husband. Sometimes, he knows me so well it’s irritating! ;)

  13. That would have to be my husband. We can finish each other’s sentences and start talking about something that the other person was just thinking of. Kind of freaky sometimes.

  14. I definitely think that my husband and mother had a good grasp on me. At times I think they may know me better than I know myself ;)

  15. Jen E says:

Toss up between husband and best friend, but I think I’d have to say my husband.

  16. My sis-in-law (hubby’s sister). We’re two peas in a pod!

  17. Mad Squirrel says:

Probably my mom or my husband as they are my best friends.

  18. Aloha Monkey says:

I’d have to say my husband.

  19. I am blessed to name three people!

    My husband
    My oldest child
    My older sister

  20. Renee says:

    God.

Cuz there are things that DH will never know. ;)

  21. I’m with Renee. There are a handful of people that know different things.

  22. Qtpies7 says:

I think it would be my husband. He knows me pretty well. So does my pastor, though. And several friends. If anyone knew me better than my husband, it would be my friend Sheree.

  23. Dee says:

    my best friend kyra

  24. I would say my mom. We’re very close and I tell her everything.

  25. I would say my mom and my DH….. for sure.

  26. Kathy says:

Well I’d like to say my boyfriend, but honestly I think my ex husband probably knows me better because we were together for 15 years and I’ve been with my boyfriend for 5.

  27. I have one friend who not only do I tell everything, but just seems that he’s always known more about me than I do….It’s almost scary

  28. I think that would have to be my Mom. My hubster knows me pretty darn well but my Mom was home while I was growing up…she wins. :)

  29. My husband definitely knows me better than anyone, we have been married for nearly 7 years and I don’t even have to say anything at times because he knows me that well. I tease that he knows me better than I know myself, we are definitely soul mates I couldn’t have asked for a better husband. Oh my how I love him!

  30. It’s a tie between my hubby and my brother ( he is my best friend).

  31. When my father was alive, he knew better than even my husband.

Now, I would have to say either my husband, his father, or his grandmother.

His grandmother and I are so much alike, we laugh sometimes, because my husband is alot like his grandfather.

  32. I would say that between my two closest friends, they probably know me better than anyone else. :)

  33. Sher :) says:

My husband, but he doesn’t even know the real me. :)

  34. AmyG says:

My brother! Strange, but he really knows me more than anyone.

  35. Lisa C. says:

My husband hands down. he is not just my lover, my confidant, my rock, but also my best friend… 15 years and counting… :)

  36. Claire says:

ditto Sher (#42). My husband does know me better than almost everyone else I know, including the rest of my family. But sometimes I wonder if I really know MYSELF. Hope that makes sense.

-Claire, mama to 2 boys who makes me smile everyday (when they aren’t driving me crazy)

no url for me but I do twitter occasionally

  37. Claire says:

dang it. i hate typos that MAKE me look like an idiot.

  38. I’d have to say that I know myself the best.

  39. My BFF. We’ve been together since high school!

  40. Spice says:

I’d have to say my husband and my mom.

  41. Kila says:

My mom, of course! And my good friend Pam, whom I was hoping to visit this weekend.

  42. I’d say my step sister, though sadly we had a falling out and are not speaking at the moment… =(

  43. jennifer says:

I’m tempted to say my mother or my hubby, but my BFF has this uncanny ability to imitate me and give answers to questions like I would before I even have the chance. So it might have to be her!

  44. It’s a toss-up between my husband and my mum. My mum and I are very similar and she often picks up on what I want and think long before I am ready to acknowledge it. But my hubby knows me just as well, even considering I am quite unpredictable in many ways. When life doesn’t go according to plan he can usually predict whether I’ll handle it with my usual positive spin, or whether I’ll have an irrational freak-out. Both are possibilities depending on my mood and he really does have the ability to sense what will truly upset me.

    Good question.

    Kelly
