Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing heavy or too thought-provoking.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Today’s question is:
If you could choose anyone, living or dead, to write a guest post for your blog, who would it be and why?
Let’s see . . . probably Oprah. Can you imagine the traffic I’d receive?

Interesting question…I have no idea who I would pick. I’ll be thinking about this question for a long time now.

Gotta to love your reason for picking Oprah.
The first person that came to my head was my daughter Britt. I haven’t seen her for some time now and I would love to hear what she has to say about it all.

LOL, by that reasoning, I’d have to pick Oprah too.
But really, I’d love to have any well-known blogger guest post - just having someone think enough of my little site to write for it would be awesome!

I would most definitely choose Jesus! I would have Him tell us about His childhood… I want to know what went on in the first 30 years of His life!

I would pick Louis L’Amour. He was a western writer and I have over 100 of his books. I wouldlove to ask him about some of the characters he wrote about!

That is a tough question! I think I’d want Antique Mommy to guest post, that would bring amazing traffic, lol. Blogger traffic is better than just random traffic following a star, because I think they would be more likely to stick around.
Or Boo Mama, she’d be a great guest blogger, too.

Yes, the Oprah traffic would be nice.
I guess I’d have to go w/ Mellie’s choice as well. Jesus would be pretty hard to beat - can you imagine THAT traffic? Or maybe there would be none?
At any rate, there would be some great parables, I’m sure.

I go with Mother Theresa. I’ve always liked her even though I’m not catholic. She had her critics and her supporters and I’d like to talk with her for a while. I’d ask her to write (on my blog) about what is truly important in life. Given that she spent the vast majority of her time taking care of the sick and orphaned, I think her views on life would be very interesting to read.

Good heavens I’ve no idea. I would probably go with Steve Irwin though because I’m a fan.

This is an interesting question. It would be nice to have one of my favorite authors, Sophie Kinsella as a guest blogger on my blog.

I’ve always said that I wanted to have dinner with my Great-great grandmother. She lived to be 102 so I figured that she would have seen a lot of cool things happen in her lifetime. She was still alive when I was born, but alas we never met. I did get to meet her daughter and of course my Great Grandfather, her son and they were very cool people.
But as for someone to post something on my blog, I don’t know…that’s a very tough one. More thinking required.

Samuel Clemons, aka Mark Twain! I would love to see what the master American storyteller has to say about life in the 21st century!
Great question, Kailani!

I’d have Jackie Collin. She was the first author who made me want to be a writer and I’ve seen her speak and she’s amazing. So vibrant, funny ad smart - just like me! Or at least how I aspire to be…
Anyway, Jackie would have lots to add to SHE-POWER I think and if she’s not busy in the next month I really could do with her help!
